I fired up an H. Upmann refugee Churchill last night only to find this in the first 1 1/2". Basically turned the Churchill into a Robusto by the time I got down trimming it so I could get a draw through it. Damn near gave myself a hernia trying to get it lit. Shame, as the stick had 10 years of age on it.

A couple of stems and some big veins. Cigar was not plugged but couldn't get the draw I'm accustomed to in a CC. Massaging didn't help. Hard as a rock from the tip to about 1 1/2" down. Finally cut it to where I thought the plug ended and I could get a decent draw.

I wish. At least I would have gotten a little bit more enjoyment from it.

I see a big guy on the right, getting ready to hurl a brick at the little guy on the left, who looks like he's trying to run away.
Any shrinks on the boards want to try and analyze my interpretation ?

Dude!
I didn't see it til I read your post. The little guy takes some imagination, but the guy with the brick is right there.

I would never hit Joe from Wildwood/Miami with a brick.
Maybe a left hook, but never a brick.

It was good, don't get me wrong. I just wish I could have kept it at the Churchill size instead of having to chop part of it off to get it to smoke.
But at least the wrapper didn't peel so I would have to take it off and smoke the binder (you had to be there).

What an imagination. But now I see it. If you think I set it up that way, you give me to much credit.

Were there construction issues that year? The QC guy must have taken off.

It's obvious that it's Roger Clemens throwing the broken bat at Mike Piazza.
