The Noir is EXCELLENT. The super toro was available at the superstore on Friday, and I smoked one right there. The flavors are meaty and full, yet the cigar is not overpowering, but soft on the palette. This cigar is great now and if it ages as most of Nick's products, it will be amazing in a year or two. The robusto was the give-away at the Perdomo booth, and I will be ashing it sometime this week or next.
As far as any comments made previously about Nick and his care level for the Perdomo fans: Nick is a class act who takes time out of what he is doing to speak to EVERYONE who approaches him. He goes out of his way to talk to, listen to, and take care of his customers...something a few other makers could learn from. Pretty much anyone who has met the man, shaken his hand, and spoken to him knows this, but even if you haven't, consider this. He has even altered the way he does business (which nets his business far less money per cigar made) to absorb the increasing tax loads imposed on his cigars; so that people can continue to regularly enjoy them. He is making more product for less money so you and I can more easily relax with an excellent smoke like the Noir. My .02
There, I finally said it. AAAaaahhhh.....
