Looks like a "shea-dy" deal. Not my words, but ESPN's. Sorry Boston, but looks like only one championship is in your picture unless your high school looking GM nuts up and makes the deal for Randy Johnson or Carl Pavano. I'll bet both Yankee and Met fans are dancing in the streets. Met fans will probably get a $10 per ticket increase this year, but I'm sure they won't mind. Hope it works out for you. Oh by the way, don't expect much from Pedro until June or July when he gets warmed up.

The Mets paid wayyyyy too much money for a former great pitcher who is now only a good 7 inning guy. Should have invested in younger healthier talent. At least now Pedro will not have to face the Yanks, should be worth between 2-4 W's a season! LOL! Just my .02. Later, Erik

Pedro has at least one more Cy Young caliber season left in him. Two years would be a great deal. The three years that Boston offered was pushing it.
4 years?? Sorry Mets fans, you mortgaged your future for a guy who takes the month of August off.
If Johnson goes to the Yanks, Pedro could lead the league in ERA, and STILL only get 15 wins on that Mets team.
Great move.
NOT!
