Yup. But, we are all Americans first.
I voted for the candidate I felt was best suited fo the job or who had the least detrimental baggage. For senste: an Independent who has no chance of winning. Fiscal conservative Democrat for governor as opposed to the Republican candidate who is evasive and grossly dishonest (IMO). Republicans for all state cabinet posts, but one.
I voted for 1/2 cent sales tax increase for our county's for the schools. I voted against redistricting by those in office, which are made to protect those same individuals. I voted for most of the state constitutional amendments.
Here is the big thing Floridians are watching: The D for governor was 1% ahead of the R last nite
with 13% undecided- in a state where the R's have had both house of the legislature and the governor's office for at least the last 10 years. I have some serious problems with the R candidate, more than any other candidate EVER.
I also stood out at the polls holding signs for two new judicial candidates who I strongly support.I think they will both win hands-down!
Hope everyopne fulfilled their civic duty no matter how and who they voted for. That is the real beuty of our nation.
