Jack, were you screaming about socialism when Medicare Part D was passed? All but 25 republicans voted for it and Bush signed it.

Actually Part D created Advantage plans which assigned the responsibility over to Private insurance companies and limited the Govt to a monthly stipend. But many seniors were afraid of them. They were somewhat popular. Not everything Bush did was a great move but who do we ever agree with all the time? But compared to what we have now Bush and company were extremly conservetive. I wish a 3rd Party could work but all it does is split the Conservative vote and get Democrats elected. I like the idea of taking back the Republican Party and that is what the Tea Party really is ,: a movement to move thePartyback to the right.

I do however think alot of Moderate ideas are good if they make sense but this country is broke and now is a dumbass time to spend more.

The main role of govt is to provide a defense for Americans and assist in building an infrastructure with roads and bridges, Not to sing them to sleep every night..

A third, centerist party, would definitely get my attention. It could be made up from both Dems and Reps that is truly what I think the Tea Party needs to become, if it is to last.

Hear this and mark it well. If the Republicans take control of anything today, it will guarantee that obama gets reelected in 2012. The Republicans will make ass clowns out of themselves going out of their way to obstruct the obama agenda for the next two years. He will whine and cry about it and say that he could have got things done, but the Republicans wouldn't let him. He will play the racism card heavy and hard. The sheeple will fall for it, and he will be reelected in 2012 when the Republicans come up with some lame ass half wit like Palin to run against him.

I hate to even think about it, but this scenario sounds like a possibility. Or, if Obama 'chooses' not to run, the Dems will run a carefully managed Hillary as a centrist, and the sheeple will swallow the bait.

I hate to even think about it even more, that millions of voting career Welfare leeches and their liberal Big Government shepherds think that the current administration is just about the neatest thing since sliced bread.
