'gater, that description is also accurate of the Cards ... I had expected this WS to be a real nail-biter between two, very evenly matched clubs with very similar styles ... and each one had to use a lot of resources to get through the LCS and each came in a bit nicked up ...
That said ... the Sox have, IMO, over-achieved during the WS, while the Cards have under-achieved, ergo the disparity ... tonight might see each side in a different light, but somehow I think not ... each starting pitcher has a sometimes record of being a bit vulnerable, but methinks that's more true of the Cards guy than the Sox ...
Of course, it might be the other way 'round ... hell, if my crystal ball were as clear as I sometimes make it sound, I'd use it to determine the winning numbers in tonight's Lotto drawing and end my wandering in ;the financial desert ..
