"The Cards lack of depth is showing". True, especially in the pitching staff. But, how do you explain their success in the series against what some would call a better hitting team in the Astros? I have that explanation. It's called playing them 26 FRIGGIN' TIMES IN 2004. Tony LaRussa knew just how and where to pitch to every single batter, and although it took 7 games, he knew the weaknesses, and was able to beat Roger Clemens in game 7.
These guys have no clue how to hande the Red Sox. Nothing works. It also helps that the Red Sox are on an unbelievable tear right now. Even 8 errors in 2 games turned to gold for them. Great job by the Sox so far. But, "It ain't over 'til it's over..."
