Question:
If both candidates end up with 269 electorial votes what is used to break the tie?
Answer:
The tie is broken by The House of Representives, which is controlled by the, (drum roll please) REPUBLICANS !!!

I beleive the president pro tem of the senate cast the deciding vote, and that would be Cheney

On the Channel Six (peter jennings) News. A tie in electorial votes gets thrown back to the House of Representatives and each State gets 1 vote. They figured GW Bush 34... kerry 16.
And that's the way it is.

I simply pointed out the correct procedure in the advent of an electorial tie.
I firmly believe and predict that "our" most beloved President the Honorable George W. Bush will receive at least a minimum 287 electorial votes.
