Being in a tough college science program, I really have to watch my intake of party treats. A couple of cigars at the end of the week really takes the nails out of my temples. From this low key perspective, I've found really heavy, complex, smooth red wines like Cabs, Merlots, & Zins can really get things happening with an equally heavy, complex, smooth cigar. I have to wonder though, don't those high octane drinks numb the palate a bit? I'll have to try it. Last time I was doing distlled spirits, a really high quality vodka, kept at about 32 degrees F, taken straight, was hard to beat for pure smoothness. I may pick up a bottle next week and do some with a stogie, or even a high nicotine content stogie (J de N Celebracions are turbocharged). Should be a RUUUUUSH!!
