I believe I have a deal worked out with JD1 (Jerry). He has been kind enough to allow me to send a package to the troops in Iraq on my end of the trade. He is also being overly generous on his end of the trade. A true BOTL through and through.

I will be sending out my package to the troops no later than Monday.

Billy/Jerry- A huge THANKS to both of you. To Billy for the time and effort organizing and coordinating and to Jerry for his generosity and kindness.

B.

Package from davebel_98 has arrived safely. I'm waiting on my Cbid winnings to arrive before I send out Dave's package.

I would like to mention that it was JD's suggestion to send my end of the trade to the troops. While I would like to take credit, all goes to JD.

Thanks again JD,

Well...Ive been a cigar smoker since the 6th grade. I started with machine made cigars my dad had laying around (Antonio y Cleopatra). Now I'm 18, and a cigar addict. I have tried a lot of stuff...I love Padron, Acid's (although they funked up my humidor...I wont be smoking those till I get an acid specific one), Astral's, H. Upmann's, and many others. My friend gvlagos (George) Told me I might be able to get a sampler here. I'm so confused at the different brands/models/etc. While I've tried alot, it only sums up to about 40 different cigars. I'd love it if a senior experienced cigar smoker could show me the way. Thanks in advance.

I just want to clarify for tony (morpheus) on his previous post. He is a newbie, but his dad smokes cigars so ever since 6th grade which was 8 years ago, he would grab a couple of his dads cigars over the years just to smoke with no purpose(adding up to what he guessed to be 40 cigars). Now however, he has finally just got interested in the true purpose of smoking and appreciating cigars for their taste. He has joined the UofI cigar club, and i would classify him as a newbie since 90% of the cigars he smoked were prior to this year and he was just stealing them from his dad and smoking them for kicks. BUT...it's up to you guys if he's a newbie or not. If you guys dont think he is...i got him covered and will see what i can do for him in terms of a sampler. He's still inexperienced so you should consider him

Hi Kent, put your post int he regular cigar area instead of the trades area. No one is going to see it here (well not many). If you want an answer make a new post.
And welcome to the forum!
PS...answer to your question. I take the wrappers off...it allows the cigar to age while in the humidor. On the other hand, some people keep them on...
