Wow ... good luck, smithbw ...

One of the hardest OpusX there is to find!

There is a cigar shop in New York that is sponsoring an:

~ IN-STORE 'CFCF' CHARITY EVENT ~
CIGAR FAMILY CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
November 22nd - Saturday - 7:00pm - In-Store
Pre-Event Cocktail Hour - 5:30pm - Rive Gauche

One hundred stores across the United States have been selected to participate in this 'once in a lifetime' event. Fifty lucky customers will be able to attend this charity function for a ticket price of $50.00.

This cost includes two limited edition cigars: Fuente Fuente Opus X Forbidden X and a Diamond Crown Maximus rolled especially for this function.

We'll be offering a cocktail hour from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at Rive Gauche Club to start the night, and then moving back to our store at 7pm to continue the fun.

All proceeds are being donated to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

We're already 2/3 booked, so please don't hesitate to contact us. This event must be paid in advance in order to reserve a seat. No unpaid RSVPs will be
accepted due to the extremely limited amount of
available spaces and cigars.

I'm sure your wife will let you go ... right???

Slim - dont tempt me...I am still on medical leave from work and since it would be for charity =)

I had the good fortune of finding a few of these with a fair trade.

It is nice to be good but better to be lucky =)

Billy,

For you, It would be an honor to send you the extremely rare and valuable(LOL) Opus I receive at the CF event.

Slim,

I didn't know it was a Forbidden X. My flier just says that its a commemorative, unreleased Opus X. Do you know where I can find this out.

Lowman - Dam (said the beaver) - I thought that you was going to say that you found me a few... =)

Cruiser - My Brother - I don't know what to say...Except "Thank You" and I have not had the good fortune of smoking the Don Ramon cigar. It really sound great and appeasrs to be a beast at 7 inch by 52 ring gauge size.

Quote from CA - As General Cigar president Austin McNamara says, "When these cigars are gone, there won't be any more."

That translates to "Smoke em if you got em because they (ALMOST) always make more"!

I am sure that I can dig somethin out of my humi to return your generosity! =)

Cruiser,

Just wondering because I get to Cleveland once in a while for business. I'll actually be there on Friday for a lunch meeting. I land at 10:30 am and take off at 3:30 pm.

mjw51,

Not sure where you are from, but go onto the Cigar Family website and you will see a link to the event. It will list all of the smokes shops by state that are hosting.

I missed this thread the first go-round, Thanks, Rocco, For topping it! I'll toast to the north when I fire up and you and Penguin toast to the south!

Billy....

Did you ever receive any of the Forbidden X cigars? My local still has some and I'd be honored to grab you a couple if not.

I forgot to mention that what I sent you was the Double Chateau instead of the Forbidden X as we thought.

The Dbl Chat...Hmmm, I have never seen one of these either.

There simply is not a possiblity to get these here.

I would honored to receive a few Forbiddens...Send me an email and I am sure that we can work something out!

Mega Hooah,
