The last of the cigars sent by Ethan, this one was the blue label. The cigar had a dark wrapper, a vein or two, it was box pressed 6” long and it was a larger ring 50+, hard to tell on box presses. It had a very good pre-light smell. It started good; tons of flavor right off the bat, woody. The draw was perfect and the burn consistent, ash was gray with some black in it, and there was tons of smoke.
As I drew the tobacco left my lips with this wonderful taste, almost like a sweet taste, about 1 ½” the ash topped off on my lap, it was about here when I detected a little pepper flavors, not much.
About half way through the cigar got stronger, the pepper flavor were stronger, it was nice and spicy full of flavor, and a lot more smoke, a thick white cloud of smoke every time I puffed, the ash got darker, lots more black in it. My palette began to get numb from all the flavor; it was great, nutty, woody and spicy, very complex, NICE!!
One more inch came and went, ash still in place, the tip of my tongue began to tingle at every draw, my stomach started to feel the fullness of this smoke. I made the wrong choice of drink, a new castle ale was too mild for this smoke, and a glass of port would have been better. The last 1” was very spicy, yummy !! The ash held for over 3”!!!!! I could not put it down; this one was “ONE HELL OF A SMOKE”
I would defiantly buy some of this if on the low end a box for sure, if a high end I’d buy a few. I totally enjoyed the cigar; it was a FULL FLAVOR AND FULL BODIED CIGAR

Very high ratings (at least for me)

Darn I hope this wasn’t the bad frog!!!LOL
Okay Ethan what were they??? Oh and thanx for the opportunity, enjoyed it very much so!!!!!!

Coma,

Why do you hope that it's not the Bad Frog? If you like them you can buy them on CBid. You know that nobody else will be bidding on them and that you can get them cheap.....LOL

So.... how much would you pay for one of those? hmm???

Do you think it was better than the Carlos Torano?

What about a.... Buc Full Sail???

Or a PAM ????

hmm... which is it...

wouldn't it be funny if I gave you TWO of the SAME cigars and you gave Different reviews to them!!

....would I do that????

Well you couldn't have given me 2 of the same cigars, one was larger than the other (the box pressed ones) I felt the last was my favorite, it had a lot more spice and fullnes than the first one I smoked, although some similarities, they smoked diferently. As far as guessing what it is , well it was very good could have been a PAM or a CT 1959, hell who knows!!! Alls I know is that it was one good smoke and enjoyed it therally!!!!
So now, please my brotha..... what were they...........

Are you SURE they weren't the same???

ok... I'll end your torment. You nailed it right on the head - everything. Consider yourself an official Cigar Aficianado (no you're not a magazine, you're a knowledgable cigar smoker):

The second one was a Cabanas (some like 'em, but they're not my bag either) and the last was none other than the highly coveted and widely aclaimed Bucanero Texas Star (about $10 at my local shop)!!!

You done well!

Thanks for the fun!!

Nice job guys. Enjoyed the reviews. I'm glad I waited until the end to read thru these threads. I actually guessed #s 1 & 3 (well, I said.."it's got to be either A, B or maybe C, so I ballparked it). The pics helped.
