Ok. This one really had me guessing. I haven't seen anything like this before. It was a torpedo shaped, I think about 6" by 50-52 ring (again, I'm bad w/ gauges...). The wrapper was interesting. Thin, slightly redish brown, with thin, dark veins. Not quite rosado. I'm just not experienced enough to figure it out, so I decided to smoke it instead of looking at it for an hour. smelled slightly sweet. cut was easy. Draw was a little tight. Construction seemed good. I was careful to toast it with my new torch from Billy, but the lighter tore this thing up! It immediately got very jagged, but I puffed away and it evened out. 1/2 into it, the draw was tight, but had a nice taste. An inch and a half into it, it opened up, had rich gray smoke with a light gray ash with stripes of black - very flaky. The ash stayed very rough and loose - in fact I reached over to tap it off and before I could make it to the ash tray -it fell off in my beer! Anyway, 1/2 the way through it mellowed and had a smooth slightly sweet flavor and seemed to get a little more complex, but I couldn't quite put my finger on the flavors. Burn was a little inconsistent. Finished rich, but clean. Smoked to 2" and then it started getting an aftertaste. All in all I thought it was a very pleasant cigar. It didn't blow me away, but it was my favorite of the three.
Ok, Coma - how did I do???? Let the humiliation begin!!
