I was back in the former hometown a few months ago and happened to notice one of the coupons for the free Partagas Black Label cigar sitting by my Dad's humidor. This was the coupon that was in the December 2001 CA magazine (between pg 82 & 83). I asked him why he hadnt used it and he said he tried a Black Label at a cigar tasting and didnt like it. He said to take the coupon if I wanted it.
I have visited several local cigar shops, but always seem to go to one when they have some summer help working that day. Nothing wrong with that, but they never picked up an issue of CA and arent familiar with the coupon. I never press the issue because I didnt want them to feel uncomfortable about accepting it.
Anyway, I'm tired of trying to cash the darn thing in and was wondering if anyone wanted it. If your interested, e-mail me your snailer and I'll send it out. I double-checked the ad in the magazine and there does not appear to be any expiration date on it. You'll just have to take it to a cigar shop that is familiar with the coupon.
