Jerry is truly a kind and generous man. He was kind enough to agree to a blind trade with me and HarleyRed, inwhich he sent us 4 OpusX for us to enjoy as our homecoming smokes. He did this, not knowing at all what we would be sending him in return once we do get home. Trust me Jerry, you will not be disappointed!! What a guy!!

Even though I am not in an active trade currently with Jerry - I want to jump on this thread and concur that Jerry is an OUTSTANDING Brother of the Leaf and every trade I did with him was an awesome experience.

Talked to my Dad today BMW and he says the area got pounded pretty good with some much needed rain. Talk to me Barry; you know I gotta hear some fish stories. I'd be walking Christmas bay and around San Luis early morning this time of year...

jd, my boss just got back from Palacios and found himself in the middle of a huge school of tailing redfish, all large. He fished for 4 hours and threw everything he had and only caught 3. I hate when that happens. I found a huge school of lounder like that once, jumping out of the water and everything. I finally tied my anchor on and tried to beat them to death!

...only caught three? ONLY CAUGHT THREE!! Barry, I'm crying over here...

I've also seen the same thing happen with freshwater trout, especially the big ones. There is a place in Idaho called Silver Creek; it holds some torpedoes like you would not believe and they are about the most educated SOBs in the water...will not bite anything just to spite you. Fished all day from crack of dawn to evening yawn and landed a few of the much smaller fish, but not a single torp...
