Most of my laptops are Dell. Haven't had any major problems with them. Also have an old Dell tower that I turned into a home a network server and media center, they have plenty of room in the case for expansion cards and adding hard drives.
Have a SFF desk top Dell that I turned into a Hackintosh (Mac OS running on a Dell). Haven't used it in a year or so, just wanted to see if I could do it.
Couple ASUS old laptops running Win 7 and collecting dust.
Black Friday Wally World Gateway laptop (I think Gateway is oned by Acer now). Nice little lightweight machine, pretty barebpnes, one step above a tablet. I think I paid $125 for it new.
Chromebook from ASUS that I bought off of e-bay to mess with Chome OS. 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD. Again, nice little lightweight machine with all one needs for average daily use. Bought it off of e-bay for about $150, new unopened from BestBuy. (I didn't know BestBuy had an e-bay presence).
Then, like a moth to a flame.... a guy that works in electronics dept at my Wally World gave me the heads up for Qty 3, 21" HP all in one's that they found on the back in the back room.

They were marking them down to put on clearance for $130. Why? I don't know... but I grabbed one before they put it out on the sales floor. It's not I like a need another computer but for $130, I couldn't pass it up. It's still in the box. I'll probably fire it up, get it's system updates, install some open source software stuff and donate it to the local boys and girls club in town.
I think I might need an intervention when it comes to buying computers that I don't need.
