If it was me that broke CBid, then it is only because I placed an order in the middle of the mess and got my cigars in normal time. I knew how it worked, emailed some "special" pictures to the ladies at Cbid and got bumped to the front of the line.

BTW...morning!

Gambling big on AMD earnings report after hours today.

Sold off several biopharm stocks with their binary dates in the future to move more into AMD. Made a lot of money off of them last year, has been pretty stagnant this year but rumor is they'll beat earnings. Suspect that's already priced in, but should see a nice bump for a day and I'll dump it for profits. Or lose a few grand...

Well... this is what happens when I've been drinking all day. I post in the wrong forum. Wrong website in fact.

Maybe time to just chill in the garage with a cigar.

Would make it an easier pill to swallow...

I lost my ass earlier this year on a couple biopharms.

Retirement is set in lower risk funds. My actively managed portfolio is all high risk. Goal is to make enough profits for a new camper. I was close a couple months ago but I got greedy and things tanked. Maybe by next year.

aaand it tanked....

20 minutes after close already down 7% and counting. Down 1,284 in 20 minutes.

Should've taken profits and watched from the sidelines. d'oh!

Not too worried, it'll come back. Opportunity to buy more. Was hoping for a quick buck to put back into other stuff. Oh well.

Group of outlets went out in the living room and back yard... electrician is booked solid for 2 months... out of frustration i went out back and slammed the outdoor outlet cover closed a few times... outlets are working again...

outlet cover... house was built in the 60's... same thing happened a year ago, electrician came out and said that outlet basically just has a wire that loosely rests in a hole, or something like that... I dunno nothing bout lalectrical stuffs... I just slam things...

you can buy a new outlet for a dollar at the hardware store... takes about 3 minutes to replace.... I don't know why the electrician didn't do it a year a go.... maybe he wants your house to burn down or somethin.. Mellow

Make sure you turn the breaker off before replacing the outlet...........could be a "shocking" experience if you don't Anxious

Yeah... I installed a ceiling fan in my living room. Turned off the switch thinking that'd do it... but it was wired for the fan AND the light. So I did the 120 shuffle on an 8 foot ladder. Thankfully the breaker tripped and I didn't electrocute my damn self. Scared

Valid question. Disappointingly, the answer is alternators.

I've replaced one on my boys' car two years ago, alternator belts on it last year, belts on the Jeep 3 years ago. My car is still holding up (knock on virtual wood).

My voltmeter was showing 18-20 somethin volts all the time. the were afraid I was gonna blow up my battery or electronics... for some reason the gauge would behave itself for a month or so and then go nuts again... after the third alternator they took a closer look at stuff... Mellow
