No crowd or big party.
Just me, my wife and our buddy Irish Bob.

Portehouse Steaks, mashed potatoes, and grilled onions and 'shrooms for dinner before the game.

During the game, HERR's Potato Chips and plain ole' French onion dip.

Libations: Coors Lights and Sheridans Irish Cream Coffee Liqueur.
(Not available in the U.S., but Bob brought us a few bottles back from his last trip to Ireland.)

Those are so good when done right, place around here used to have great burnt ends but went out of business.

Watching the game at my Aunt's house tonight with rest of family for our weekly Sunday dinners. She is making lasagna and I am sure there will be tons of apps prior cause there always is.

It's difficult to be successful with a barbecue business. Beef is expensive, and the time and effort required to make it properly is cost prohibitive. You have to charge more than most people are willing to pay to turn a profit consistently.

And when you are really good at it, and try to keep up with the demand, the product suffers.

Macs my next door neighbor just submitted his business plan. He competes every weekend and has been in the restaurant and catering business for several decades. He's still nervous about it.

He's hedging his bets by including a couple other lines of business.

Krispy kreme... started the day with a chocolate frosted with sprinkles, then segwayed into a powdered sugar covered/blueberry filled... probably hit up a maple or two by halftime and then celebrate the falcons victory with an apple fritter...

I wanted the Pats to win. If they were playing the Steelers I'd be happier. I'm happy for Matt Ryan, though. Seems like a good dude.

The word out of Chestnut Hill (Boston College) has always been that Matty is a truly humble and thoughtful person.
He was instrumental in the start of the ice water bucket challenge a couple of years ago for his BC classmate and former varsity baseball player Pete Frates, who was struck down by ALS.

Gonna sound weird, but he's about the only QB that could beat the Pats without making me crazy. I'm proud of him, depressed, but proud of Matt.

Matt Ryan really turned the corner this year. He has been brilliant.

If it couldn't be my steelers I was always rooting for the Falcons.
