On Wednesday Belichick admits he knows all the information on Floyd.
On Thursday more information is released.

Where did you lose the progression?
Bill even gives you a hint: "not if it was just released".

I'll let you in on a little secret: Beilichick won't give out any information that isn't fully vetted by himself personally. His Wednesday answer was 100% accurate, and his Thursday response was even more so.
You're just trying to muddy the water in order to make a point of some sort.

Fully vetted himself? Public got the extra information on Thursday, those that have the ability to get the information had it before then. Belichick plays a I know what you know mentality when he should know a lot more then the general public. I am not saying there is anything wrong with him giving the media the bare minimum but come one with the Belichick is God routine. He knew Hernandez was implicated in a shooting while at Florida that was pretty serious. He knew where that could lead and chose talent over character. He knew Floyd could have killed someone in that vehicle and is probably going to be suspended but he chose talent over character. It is what it is but he is not this person that is blindsided by these situations and then handles them the best he could have. Some are consequences from his willingness to look the other way on character when a player has superior talent.

I don't hate the pats. Never have. And I don't think they are better or worse than most teams on this sort of thing.

It's just that their fans act so pious and it amused me.

I'm easily amused though.

Of course Belichick knew about the DUI. And it was absolutely a case of talent over character. But getting a DUI versus being 3 times over the limit or whatever? Bill says he didn't know until he did know. But some want him to somehow know before he did.

Scheme of things? No big deal.
Unless you feel that every DUI should result in being fired (or not hired).
That's a litmus test that I would never suggest.

You just like saying pious.

I call out a rapist.
You counter with DUI.

Pious.
You keep saying that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

That is complete BS because if he vetted the player then the player would have to come out with the truth right? Or would he allow players to lie to his face and keep them on the team? Either way not a good look for him. Agree DUI is not as bad as a murderer but it could have been a vehicular manslaughter case very easily considering the shape Floyd was in.

I don't think Belichick is the only coach/team to look past character when hiring players but dayum it would be nice to hear that he is not the most high moral person for once from a homer instead of these holier then thou comments because he has won a few super bowls.

I never said BB was "the most high moral person".
Not even close.
The guy does his best to be a douche. Not sure where you get your information, but don't project it on me.

He isn't employing an accused rapist.
He did hire a guy with a DUI.
I thought that was pretty straight forward.
But I guess I'm just a homer for stating some facts...

I like the banter, but please keep it accurate.

I'm sorry.
What was your point?

I don't blame the Rooney family for the rape.
Just for sweeping it under the rug and paying the perpetrator.

Does this not give the perception that you believe Belichick to be of higher morals then whichever Steelers exec made the decision on Ben. Didn't put words in your mouth just know when someone is one sided on an opinion. Don't blame you, you are a hard core Pats fan. Maybe Pats fans shouldn't bother calling other teams out on their handling of players with questionable activity for awhile, all things considered and all.

Good weather forecasted for game = bad for Steelers.
Three things need to happen for Steelers to win.
1) they need to be +2 in the turnover score
2) Bell needs 25 - 30 touches, and 130 or so yards rushing, and another 50 or so receiving
3) they need to possess the ball at least 35 minutes

The Pittsburgh Steelers got an early wake up call for Sunday's AFC Championship game when the fire alarm went off at their hotel in Boston.

Reports started surfacing on social media shortly after 3 a.m. that someone pulled the fire alarm at the hotel the Steelers were staying at near Logan airport.

Dennis Harrison, 25, of East Boston was arrested by Massachusetts State Police in connection to the false alarm. Police told FOX25 he was found walking on the hotel property and had activated the pull alarm.

According to the Boston Fire Department, the alarm originated in a stairwell at the hotel.

Police say Harrison was not a guest at the hotel and had no reason to be on the property.

Harrison has been charged with disturbing the peace, setting off a false fire alarm and disorderly conduct.

Even if that stunt was worth 2 TDs, the pats still win.

This team is unbelievable.

Through all of the scandals and media portrayals of the Patriots as the villain one thing is now more certain than ever....they are the greatest dynasty the league has ever seen and it could be lifetimes before there is another like it. Congrats to the Pats for making yet another SB.

Nationally some saw a hothead trouble maker. As a season ticket holder I saw a fearless sometimes immature extremely talented kid with a big smile and teammates that loved him and had his back.

Sad deal. No sadder than the presumably 100s of similar average joe deaths the same day, but sad.
