I am thinking that you gifted me one of those. I have one. Is it ready, or could it use more time?

I am currently smoking an H. Upmann Sir Winston, that I had low expectations for, as it is young. It is nice now, but it will be awesome with a few more years. I am sure I will find them at their peak, one year, and smoke them all up. My plan was, and to this point, is to smoke one a year, so that the last one is 25 YO.

RyJ Short Churchill '10. Pretty meh. Last one from that box was pretty nice; cherry vanilla and ceder. This one was just blah, not much more than burning leaves.

The Oficios were so good I smoked 'em all... and then got another box and smoked 'em all...

Yes. They're ready, and they're gooooood.

Yup. They were good to go from day one. I have been trying to make the box last. Only a few left. Still have a box of each of the Mercederas and Murrallas released at the same time.

You, sir... have more will power than I do.

RASCC box I just got is a year old and I've already had 3 of 'em.

Montecristo C Edicion Limitada 2003.

Sound off if you still got these...

One of the best cigars on the planet. My 4th box is almost empty. 5 left. Crying

I only have one child... but I'd happily pawn his ass off for 2 more boxes (which is what it would prolly cost). Anxious

Been hoarding the OR boxes but I have been through a couple of boxes of the Officios myself. Sorry to say but I can't be of any help on the Monte EL. I haven't had good luck with the ELs in general but some of the regionals have been worth the coin.

I for the most part, have not had good luck with any ELs after about 04. Until the 2011 R A Allones Extra.
Just finished my first one, and I was impressed. Very rich, and the flavor was true to the Marque. If you enjoy a RASS, you will love them.

Have not had the RA Extra. I do have a box of RA Petit Unicos RE Cuba '09. Very tasty little buggers.

Smoked a RASS '11 today.

SLR Serie A, May 01 courtesy of Buckwheat.

This cigar is smoking great, its the oldest cigar I've smoked so far.

Thanks Julian for letting me experience this fine smoke.

I was half expecting it to be really mild, but its got really good flavor.

Had a young Monte #4 this morning, as I was pulling out of Broken Bow, OK. While it was nicer than 1 year old montes used to be, I will lay the rest down for a long, 4-5 year nap. The first third was good, the second third, the tannins started to appear, the final third was pitched, as it became unpalatable. I grabbed an eight year old Bolivar pc, as I started the long pull up "Three Sticks." A great smoke, that seems to get better, every time I smoke one. Habanos really screwed the pooch, when they discontinued the 50 count cabs, of Bolivar PC.

San Cristobal La Fuerza - mahalos to Numi

Mark photo bombed his wife's selfie on FB so it inspired me to smoke this - pure coincidence that Burner and I smoked the same gifted cigar.

This thread reminds me of my cafeteria in Elementary School in the 60's in Tampa. The lunchladies were all Cuban and we had the choice of the ordinary cafeteria swill or a Cuban Sandwich. You could ask for them heated.....So we got a kick out of saying "I'd like a hot Cuban!".......and then w'ed laugh and snicker (the lunchladies were NOT hot). Childish but what the heck we were children. But now everytime I see the thread header "What-cubans-are-ya-smoking" it gives me a flashback of middle-aged overweight cuban ladies in hairnets. Yikes!
