Just right now 9:00pm I punched a cigar I recieved yesterday from CBid & noticed something black was evident just inside the hole so I carefully pinched it & began to pull & here is what started coming out...... it appears to be a piece of black trash bag that runs several inches into the length of the cigar if not all the way thru....What would you do, it is a very cheap stick ????

Mojorisin - I am very sorry to see this picture. Which cigar was it? I'll be perfectly honest with you, and this may sound unbelievable.....but things like this do happen from time to time (a lot more often than you might think), and it happens in many, many factories. When rollers work with tobacco, they have piles of leaves on their rolling tables, of which they grab a handful and bunch them together slowly. Unfortunately, they are not always aware that something might be stuck in between a series of leaves, and it gets rolled into the bunch. We've seen cigars from various factories - many of which are top factories - with ribbons, nails, the broken off ends of spoons....you name it. It's scary, and is rare considering the number of cigars these factories produce each day, but it does happen.

Please feel free to give customer service a call and we'll make it right for you, right away.

CBid is sending me a free fiver although I don't feel it is their fault. They didn't roll it. I sent them an email to try & find the company so I could notify them.I'm gonna keep it for conversations sake.
The internet is an amazing deal. I found the company & I'm pretty sure the roller, his youtube videos, & his Facebook page & yeah it was rolled in the USA & the roller studied under Pepin........Maybe I'm wrong ? Amusing & interesting though.

Hah! There has to be something on the interweb that doesn't have a (very good looking with practically nothing on) girl. Fire up the Google-machine.

I thought this picture was a joke, if not geez thats crazy. Also if you just recieved them, especially from cbid you should give them a bit of rest time.

No Joke & I usually smoke a couple right off the truck resting the others. In the short time I've been doing business here I've found that so far CBid shipments need less of a rest than C.I. orders do ?

How can that be? Aren't they shipped from the same warehouse. Same shipping methods, etc...

I don't know why, it's just something that I noticed & oddly enough my C.I. orders are delivered to my house by the USPS mail carrier, while my CBid wins are delivered by UPS, but the C.I. orders are tracked with UPS until it is dropped off at my post office. I hope you are following me as I think I just confused myself d'oh!
