Only one team has ever come back from being down 3-0

If the Cards are to become the 2nd to do so, it'll take more than the Curse of the Bambino

It worries me that the Mayor of Boston has announced a victory parade for the Sox, to be held on Sat if they win tonight, or to be held on Sun if they win tomorrow ...

I think that's tempting fate a bit and can't imagine the depths of despair among the Red Sox faithful if their team were to have been up 3-0 and then tank it ... worse than the loss to the Mets in '86, worse than anything that's ever come before ...

I truly hope to see them get it done tonight ...

"The Cards lack of depth is showing". True, especially in the pitching staff. But, how do you explain their success in the series against what some would call a better hitting team in the Astros? I have that explanation. It's called playing them 26 FRIGGIN' TIMES IN 2004. Tony LaRussa knew just how and where to pitch to every single batter, and although it took 7 games, he knew the weaknesses, and was able to beat Roger Clemens in game 7.

These guys have no clue how to hande the Red Sox. Nothing works. It also helps that the Red Sox are on an unbelievable tear right now. Even 8 errors in 2 games turned to gold for them. Great job by the Sox so far. But, "It ain't over 'til it's over..."
