Well guys, I'll be heading off to Asturias, Spain this weekend for work related activities. For those of you interested in cigar history, Asturias is the birthplace of Angel Cuesta of Cuesta-Ray. I'll have my laptop and digital camera with me, so stay tuned to the Picture Post board for some interesting pics. There will be a festival going on the first week I am there. I think there is always a festival going on in Spain somewhere.

As for the box pass, I will still be keeping an eye on the postings while I am there and will be able to participate in any necessary communications. I should be back just in time for my turn and to add some Spanish souvenirs to the box. The earliest I will be able to receive is 9/29.

Adios Amigos!!! (Pretty impressive Spanish, huh? I can count to 10 too!)

Dave, you sent those the day before you sent the box to chipslave, right? Well, I got them yesterday, so I guess Jay should get the box today??

Hey AlThor,
I just recieved an email, saying the boxpass has not arrived today, the Del Conf. Number when plugged into the USPS website also says it is yet to be delivered. The address, I used for chipslave, has been confirmed, as being right. This is making me nervous. But I get nervous easily, just ask Docrks. It better show up tomorrow.

Jay, you'll have to sign for the box. They will not leave it unless someone else can sign for you.

Man this whole thing has me bummed out.
Loved the boxpass, hating the worry, over the missing box. Clutching the insurence slip, hoping it is never needed. Damnit, that box better be there tomorrow. I am going to stroke out.

Hey Guys,
Just got back from my local PO, where I initiated a trace, on the missing box. Hopefully it will be found, and delivered, very soon.

I believe the form I filled out will cover us both. It was pretty comprehensive. Full Address for sender and reciever, conf. number, insurance number, etc.
I believe what this does, is takes the same route, to each postal center on the route, and they look for a misplaced package, matching the del conf. number, and sends it on it's way.
Don't know but hopefully.

Hey guys. Greetings from Spain. Sounds like we have a lost box on our hands. I hope everything works out.

Everything here is going well. I´ve found a lot of Estancos (tobacco shops), but none were that great. They dont have any walk-in humis in this town. Most of the gars are in small humis and some arent in any at all. Suffice to say the cigar selection isnt that great and I have yet to purchase any yet. I´m working on some other interesting items for the box pass and will see if my new found local connections work out.

The country is great. I dont speak much spanish, so communication is a little difficult. The people are very patient with me and we still manage to communicate in one way or another. I should have some great pics to post once I get back.

I´m sitting in an Internet cafe with no air conditioning, so I´m gonna head out of here. I hope all turns out well with the missing box and maybe I´ll check the boards before I fly out of here on Saturday morning. Have fun guys and I´ll chat at you later.

I have an idea chipslave, hire a few bloodhounds, go home and bust out you stash of good smokes and begin to smoke one after the other, right infront of the dogs.
Let them get the feeling of a real herf, let them hunger for those premium smokes, PAM's, Opus......etc
Then tell them, boys find the box pass......
I'm sure this will work..........LMAO

mailman came and went... no package. I am getting worried sick over the whereabouts of this package. I hope that our tracer locates it soon. Until then, I will continue to cruch away on my Tums...

Ok, guys. Prayer rally at my place tomorrow night. I want to see everyone there. Jay, bring your guitar and play kumbaya for us...

Don't feel bad, Dave. There's nothing anyone did wrong and there's nothing any of us can do. I just hope the SOB at the post office who swiped our box is enjoying all of our prized treasures, may he rot in hell....

... no, I'm not bitter....

You know what? I have half a mind to start another one if this thing doesn't turn up - and send it UPS! Ha! That will teach them!!!

Ethan,
I'll bring a Buddhist Monk tonight. We might also need a Rabbi, a Priest, and any other religious leader that will help us through these tough times.

I really hope the box is okay, but if it was one of those no good postal carriers, then i have no pity for them if they smoke one of those lone wolfs and get sick from it.

Also Ethan, if you do another box pass, I can help you out with some sticks. Let me know.

keep smokin,

Personally...I'm done with praying!

I'm going to sacrifice my mailman!

I want a 1926! Is there anything wrong with that!

DMV, that's another thing that makes me sick - I thought it would be fun to let everyone drool over the 1926 and make you suffer in anticipation, but now it's gone! I should have just mailed it to you!!!

Don't sweat it...I was just trying to inject a little humor into a pretty bad situation.

I have faith that it'll turn up.
