The order of mailing and the participants in this PASS is as follows. The PASS should be with Chris in CA on Monday or Tuesday 7 or 8 July, 2003. After that - we are hoping it doesn't sit in one location for more then 2 days and then there is the travel time.... If it looks like the PASS will be getting to you while you are on Vacation - we'll re-arrange the order to the next person who can receive it -- However - based on the inputs I have received to date - this "SHOULD" work out fine (famous last words......)
Here are the Hop to Hops.......
Chris Wilhelmi and Charlie A - California
Deadeyedick and JSD1 - Arizona
Homebrew - Arkansas
Rocco M - IL
Octowings - IN
Hoagie 55 and JustDanD - Ohio
Danny - MI
Robby - GA
Cooksta2 - NC
Ropeman - PA (will drive PASS to New Jersey)
PT, Lowman, Big Jeff and DocRKS - NJ
Special "Pick of the Box" for Billy S Overseas APO

Great job Docrks!!!

I just found out that I will be having a business trip sometime the week of July 14. I don't have dates yet, but let's play it safe and say that I'm not available from the 14th-18th.

I don't think the pass should be affected, but depending on turnaround time from the first six guys it could be close.

Docrks,

Do we have a 'published' price list for these sticks?

Thanks to you and the others in the pass who I have recently traded with I have just started getting into the Super and Ultra premium smokes. I might need a little coaching on what would constitute an 'equal swap'.

Quick Question:

Can you take a Premium & replace
it with a Super Premium?

I have the feeling that by the end
of the pass, the last few players
will only be left with Ultra Premiums
to trade from.

People in this Pass are those that
like to give more than receive!

Just a question!

Octowings (Puff Puff)

You are Always at liberty to replace a Premium with Super or Ultra or Habana.... Going up is NEVER a Problem ---that's why a Torpedo can be replaced by a Churchill - but not a Petite Corona.....

I've tried to take into account some questions that accompany the Paperwork of the PASS.... I've also included a # where you can reach me ....

The Main Golden Rule in the PASS .....Do What's FAIR !

With the assembled Players in this PASS (WOW!!!) I am certain this will not be a worry --- I am truly honored that such distibguished Brothers of the Leaf would join in on this Adventure.

Happy 4th of July to ALL !!!!!
God Bless the USA !!!

Big Jim -

So as not to confuse the issue -In appreciation of your offer to PUT 2 sticks into the PASS even though you are not one of the 16 Players - You will be receiving a separate "TAKE" sent directly to you via Priority Mail - Tracking # 0302 1790 0000 0379 4065.
Pls post on this thread when you have made contact with JSD1 or DeadeyeDick and deposited the 2 sticks.

Enjoy the Habana.....

Leaving....on a Jet Palne....

Actually - the PASS has left New Jersey for Chris W. in Concord, CA. It was shipped today via Priority Mail, Insured for $600 with Delivery Confirmation Tracking No: 0302 1790 0000 0379 4072

Chris -be on the lookout and POST to this thread when you receive the PASS. The Shipping Box was made up especially to accomodate the PASS and can hopefully be reused many times over. Then after publishing your TAKES and PUTS - make sure you hear from the next on the list - CHARLIE - that he is ready to receive....

Charlie A --- get ready - YOU're NEXT ! ! !
and then we need to get it to the guys in AZ quickly as both are leaving for vacation by July 15....we may have to re-route - but too early to make that call.

Hope all 18 of us have an absolutely AWESOME adventure with this PASS.

Please check your emails - I have forwarded the vacation schedules and mail routing list for the PASS to all concerned.

Billy -

The "Pick of the Box" selection awaits you in the not too distant future as the PASS comes back home --- and by that time - I believe you could be looking at a LOT of cigars to choose from - and seeing the Quality of the Participants in this PASS - you are in store for some FINE choices !

Just curious Cwil, what is the size of the box as best you can remember (LxWxH)? I'm hoping it fits in one of the large package mailboxes we use for packages that don't fit in our regular box. Otherwise, they'll take it back to the post office and leave me a pink slip...

Thanks for the Great News Chris --

I AM SOOOOOOOOOO GLAD !!!

I spent a few anxious moments before I heard from you where I was dreading going down to the Post Office and filing out a claim for a "lost" package.

Also, I sincerely appreciate the comments as to the packaging and the "orderly" way it was all put together ---- that is 100% due to my wife Monica who took over the project and treated it as if it were a subject for a set of System Operating Procedures - also, all of the graphics and art work are hers. I am afraid if it were left up solely to me and my organizational skills - there would have been a bunch of cigars in a few bags with some peanuts thrown in to keep them safe.

PS - She even doesn't object when we smoke the cigars in the house !!!! Now, that's real Love in action......

Thanks! I agonized over my decisions for 1.5 hours!! I was a little worried on the AF 858 SG, but I paid about 8 on a box price so I figured I was safe, and not too many people have had a chance to have them...

BTW - The H stands for Habana...

Bear with me guys... this is my first box pass...

Doc set up the list above indicating which gars are in each catagory. As the box goes further down the line, of course the list will be altered. Is there a list or spreadsheet in the box itself where each person crosses out and adds what they take and put so everyone will still know what gars are in each catagory???

Low (aka boxpass newbie)

PS... Good choices, Chris.

Chris - Nice Play !!! I know you agonized over the choices but I know you were guided by that Golden Rule of the PASS -- do what's FAIR !!!

Low -- Yes, there are 4 Master Lists for each of the 4 Categories in the PASS - so hopefully, Chris entered his takes on the appropriate list and put the appropriate Labels with the Ultra, Super, Premium or Habana designators.

Come onnnn Charlie - INCOMING !!!!
