I'm not sure, but Speyside knows more than me. My guess is to refrigerate and then let sit at room temp for about 30 minutes? Allen?
I've just "cooled down" a few and enjoyed them...mostly pinot noirs, but only those that are lighter in body. In recent years I have come across some fairly full and fruit forward pinots, so much so that I would have guessed cabernet...so not those.
Today's Boston Globe food section lists 3 that fit the description, I have not had any yet, but here is what they suggest for drinking "slightly chilled leading us from Spring to Summer with ease".
Le Cantine di Indie " Polpo Rosso" Terre Siciliane 2014-around $17
Domaine Mont de Marie "Anatheme" Rouge 2013- around $18
Weingut Darting Pinot Meunier, Pfalz 2013 around $20
If I am able to find any, I will report. Would you like to try one or three if I am successful? It would be my pleasure, sir.
