You guys order your wines or do you buy local? Like liquor stores? I’ve been digging around online a little lately but not sure where to source stuff

We do both. Total Wine has a pretty good selection and prices are generally better than online sources but we also buy some that I can't find locally. I have a yearly free shipping contract for those purchases.

Luis Vieira Reserva Lente 2021, a Portuguese red blend. I like it very much with a Maduro

Chateau Lassegue St. Emilion Grand Cru 2018
2nd bottle from a case I splurged on. One of the few wines that make my tastebuds pop.

Sounds good. Wife and I are going on a Viking river cruise this summer to the Bordeaux region so we are starting to drink some frog wines in anticipation. Up until now we have enjoyed many meritage blends but only from the US wineries.

Sounds like a wonderful time. I've heard good things about the viking river cruises but haven't been on one yet.

2015 Leonetti Cellar Merlot, Walla Walla Valley, Washington. It paired nicely with Bluefin Tuna.

Karen Birmingham Lodi Zinfandel 2021
Dark red Zin, surprisingly light palate but full enough to step on my Connie…poor choice on my part. Berries and sour apple in the mix.

2019 Meerlust Merlot, South Africa. This shows more like a Cabernet Sauvignon than a Merlot in weight and depth, the fruit profile on the other hand is pure Merlot.

Just opened another bottle myself. Bought a case last year and have a few left in the Vinotemp. We like many of the offerings from the Barossa Valley.

2015 Penfolds RWT Shiraz. Just about the perfect age for this bottle. We are sitting outside on the patio listening to classic blues.

I have a bottle of 2018, guess I should let it sit for 3 more years.

Hey Allen, and DED how about Peter Gajewski Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 or Luis Vieira Reserva Lente (blend)/? I really enjoy those because I can taste different things like blueberries or red / black plum, and the tannins don’t overwhelm my palate. Are they crap wine? Or decent? I don’t think it matters much as long as I enjoy drinking the wine. I’m just thinking if these are the qualities I enjoy, you might be able to suggest something even better but hopefully not over $30 bottle maximum. I pay about $13 on Naked Wine dot com for the wine I mentioned.

Jake, Mauricio Lorca “Angels Selection” Malbec 2022. Have you tried it? I love it. Also about $13 on Naked dot com

I’ve tried other wines from Naked and I use the coupon I get in my CBid shipments so I think it’s ok to mention their website. Anyway, I look forward to suggestions and discussion if the mood strikes any of you brothers of the grape BOTG lol
