The only way u get decent shipping deals on here is to set your shipping frequency to a weekly setting and win several auctions. It varies between $.25 and $1 per won item after the first item is won. As far as getting a good deal on smokes, that's on you. Gotta be persistent. I've got PLENTY of good deals on here. But there are a lot of idiot bidders out there that help pay for others good deals.

No; CigarBid is not a good online store for good cigars at competitive prices and reasonable shipping. There are at least two online retail stores that sell at a consistently competitive price and, ship my cigars for very little or no shipping charge. These two stores ship via USPS and I get my cigar bundles in 2 - 3 days almost without fail. So, I tried CigarBid for my cigar purchase and it wasn't satisfactory for me. I called customer service and I was given the "....we often sell at below cost" nonsense.

I live in Virginia Beach, and have mine shipped on Tuesday. I usually receive them 2 days later on Thursday, but have got them on Wednesday a couple of times. I always check the price on other sites before bidding on an item just to make sure I am getting a good deal if I win.

I've been smoking cigars for about 35 years. I've seen cigar brands come and go and prices primarily increase. I made my first "bid and buy" last Thursday on CigarBid. I got a $3 per cigar purchase on 15 cigars middle of the road cigars. The cost IS competitive with other online retailers; competitive. The sorry part of the buy is shipping. My cigars are "daily ship" and, to CigarBid good efforts, my cigars WERE shipped the very next day. The thing is, it cost me only $1 less in shipping cost from CigarBid. The shipping time via the only method provided by CigarBid is EIGHT days. Competitive online cigar retailers sell for prices competitive to CigarBid however, after buying the darn cigars, the competitors ship and I receive in 2 - 3 days coming from Burlington, North Carolina to my front door in Katy, Texas via USPS. I called CigarBid Customer Service and was told "that's just part of the deal of being able to buy cigars 'BELOW COST'...it's just the way it is, there's nothing we can do about it". Below cost? Am I to think CigarBid is GIVING CIGARS AWAY AT A LOSS and because of this loss, the cigars MUST be shipped via UPS SurePost (for a $1 less than USPS Priority as online competitors ship)? Not a good deal.

It is one of the "well, it happens automatically, the system does it and unfortunately there is nothing we can do" scenarios.

not that I really care, but some might find it offensive that you used the first person subjective case pronoun "I" instead of the first person objective case pronoun "me". I'm sure you remember the rule of grammar...that objects in a prepositional phrase (in this case the preposition is "between") take the objective case pronoun.

I know, I've heard it a million times..."but it sounds classier to end with I instead of me", but class has nothing to do with it. The rules are the same for lower class as well.

Are you thinking of hanging around for a while? Cuz between you and me (see what I did there?) membership is waaaay down.
