Didn't want ya'll to think I forgot about ya'.... btw - the new e-mail is [email protected] ... had to shutdown the [email protected] - not enough time. Only thing missing in this pic is my cigar ... lost the damn thing (almost swallowed it actually) when this guy came out of nowhere.

One shot - 273 yards - dropped on the spot with a Single Shot Remington 40X - matched up to a Swarovski 6x24x50mm scope.

Cal: 300 Win Mag with 1/14 twist
Bullet: Sierra 2144 165gr BTHP
Powder: 73.2gr IMR4350
Primer: Federal Magnum Rifle
Muzzle: 3280fps

Minimum 3.7" MOA @ 500 yds (I think to get any better on my groups I'll have to get a bigger scope).

This one is a Ten Pointer ... I actually have an Eight Pointer that scores much higher. Thanks for the compliments.

Man, you know your stuff! All I can say about the deer I shot is I hit it with a 243. I used a bullet. I was looking through a scope. It was kinda far away. It's sitting in nice little neat packages in my freezer now.

Man, it looks like a deer in headlights. Nice job.

My best bud hunts bigtime here in TX and sends me the processed meat. I've got sausage, jerky and even a roast in my freezer from the last kill.

Nice job Jimmy, did I count that as an eight? Or did miss one in the back of the rack?

Ummm.... it's actually a 10 pointer - but the way that rack lines up - you can't see the second tines back on each side ... I have other pics of him - but this one came out the best ... the camera flash gave a cool lite-up to his eyes - and no - headlights weren't part of the hunting package ...

That's a nice buck. I would be massively impresses if you took him at that range with a bow.
