By my count, only 5 are in the air out of 14 so far. That makes us "slackers" the majority and so far not below average.

We’ve got 10 more days before the suggested deadline. Except for Leebo, he has until sundown or its curtains for him.

I’ve all but quit bombing and trading, kinda like MACS I’m not super keen on the RAOKs….Ive gotten to where I only buy what I really enjoy, and grab odd singles at my shpo on their Friday herf night or maybe once a year grab a new box of an old favorite.

What Fuentes??

They don’t have Anejo or Opus - of course - or the 80 year, but the Hems and a few others

FMD code for Fuente
PREF1 code for 50% off Aurora Preferido No. 1
WW 20% for West Tampa and Warped…WT is sold out of Attics. WW25 for 25% if you spend $150
Illusion 20% CIHO / 25% CIHO200 for $200
HVC 35% off code HVC

That’s the highlights

You guess after you smoked em... Or don't guess. That's just a level of difficulty you may choose to add to the game.

Post up the labeled cigars, and that you got unlabeled cigars 1, 2, 3.

I’m hoping to get the wrapper properly identified on at least one cigar. I’ll never be able to name the cigar. There is an excellent chance that I’ve never even heard of it. Although Leebo is probably down at the gas station now picking up a pack of Dutch Masters…Gonz
I don’t think Lee is reading my posts or either he’s angry. But he ain’t taking the bait. Maybe I should double down.

I can’t remember what I sent that had the labels. I just remember thinking that they weren’t too sexy. I’m getting more interesting stuff in the mail everyday though. And no place to stash it.

Raise your hand if you’re out of storage space 🙋‍♂️

#1 bout 4-50
Strong pepper on the light up black pepper. Some leather moving in. Draw is perfect. 20 minutes in there’s a light spice of something that I can’t describe. I do however like it. Maybe an occasional hint of red pepper However it’s very faint and the black pepper shades it out.

2nd. Very leathery. Less black pepper light caramel note. Burn line is a little wavy but we gonna run it. So light caramel lots of leather and some light black pepper Occasional red pepper still comes and goes. Ash has held on long enough. Believe I’m gonna knock him off there before it ends up in my lap.

Final things have been hanging around with the same flavors for a while now. I’ve made it to the band. Still hanging around with the same flavors. Medium plus flavors and body. Never touched up the burn. Never had to. Toward the end here. Intensity has ramped up a bit. Soooo I’ll guess this is a Jc Newman cigar. It reminds me a bit of the brickhouse. I don’t think they offer the brickhouse in this size and shape but that’s my guess cause I have no idea.

Final third is the best part of this cigar for me. Flavors are the same but intensified. This is the run of the mill daily cigar Final answer.

Thank you z! All in all I liked it. I’d smoke it again

I would never use a fake addy!

Check the production year on the Crux, I thought it was a 2023 but honestly they’re fine anytime. That MOW I believe is from the first run, and if you look on that Zino cello you can see a year written with a sharpie….hint: it’s an album title. Super glad it all made it there ok.

Nice one, Z!

Huzza's box arrived today and it included:

3 blind smokes
1 Illusione Rothschild Connecticut, which I don't think I've ever had (always smoke the SA) and am looking forward to.
1 Oliva MB3, which I really like
1 box of Old Kentucky Chocolates, which won't see another sunrise
1 tin of Lapsang Souchong tea, which is interesting and, yes, I would have totally thought it was pipe tobacco until I opened it

and

A cool as chit homemade clock made from a Cuban Cohiba box!

Awesome hit Huzza! Way beyond necessary but most appreciated.

Jeebs, your box will be shipped in the timely and professional manner everyone has come to expect from me, so probably June(ish).

Glad you like it! If you’re not a tea guy, I’d recommend using it to make a smoky simple syrup. I usually make a jar of it to add to my bourbon old fashioneds. I call it a “Burnt Reynolds”

Lapsang Souchon is kind of like the Tea worlds version of peated scotch or Latakia pipe baccy….not for everyone and I actually enjoy it with less sweetener. In a tin? Harney and Sons? They also make a smoked bourbon tea.

Well well well….now I feel like I really underdid my send.

Dan’s end arrived intact. Long day today and this was a pleasant surprise.

2 bags of homemade jerky (1 is marked spicy)
1 HUGE bag of Albanese gummy bears (these are very tasty)
A nice “Grid Life” sticker, gonna have to figure out what that’s going on.

And cigars.

TOO MANY damn or as I’ll for ever say too many DANM cigars.
(2013) Tatuaje TAA Gran Chisseur (nh)
2 Illusione Epernay LE Grande (love em!)
Fuente Hemingway Untold Story Maduro (great summertime fireside)
Illusione Haut 10 Toro

Apparently ^ this was just the “I know what you like bag”.

Mi Querida Ancho Largo (toro) a shpo go to
Warped Lirio Rojo (nh)
Illusione Oneoff Allegria Corona (nh this one)
Charter Oak Corona
Fuente Hemingway Short Story (very much prefer the nat in this vitola)
The Tabernacle maduro corona (nh this size)
Penn Standard corona? 6x48 to my eye, never HEARD of this one)

^ now I see both these bags marked PIB….good grief

And the legit bag:

FOUR unbanded cigars not 3, again you overachieving bassturd.
And he decided to round this 5 fingered bag with a big middle finger.

A 2016 Opus X either a Perfection X or Perfexion #2? Only toro sized Opus I’ve ever had were out of holiday packs.

Very nice double hit Dan, I will honor your generosity by getting to my review duties asap. I’m on call and battling a kidney stone this weekend but I’ll try to get to at least one.

Thank you!

From jeebs.

Smokes
HVC- Pan Caliente
CH- Long Live The King
Aging Room- Quattro Nicaragua
AJ- New World Puro
Macanudo- Gold Label
And three unlabeled.

Treats
Bottle of honey and jalapeño peanut brittle.
Very nice jeebs.

Glad it all landed Z and you noticed it was also pib blended in. Left my note on the printer. Spicy jerky has a small amount of homegrown ghost pepper powder in the marinade. I don't think its spicy, but my coworkers acted like I was trying to kill them when I shared it. The Opus I got from someone else in 2016 so it could be older. Albanese candy factory is right down the road from me. Probably equidistant to me and Sunoverbeach.

This wasn't all spring blind review.

I picked him up in PIB since I was sending a box anyway and could do his asks.

I did break the rules with 4 blinds and an opus instead of the 3+2 but shenanigans are quietly encouraged. fog

Received my box from Papa today.
A nice bottle of Ferrindino Maple Syrup, which will be put to good use as soon as I can taste again, and a nich selection of 5 sticks plus the 3 unnamed.
The five?
AF 858 Anniversary Maduro - NH
AF Hemingway Work Of Art Maduro - A Favorite
Cohiba Black - Been a while
San Cristobal Supremo - NH
Warped Chinchalle- NH and have been wanting for a while

And of course the three unbanded and a envelope with all the secrets.
All packed nicely in a AF 858 box.
I cant wait to get into this, however it's gonna have to wait a bit. Still recovering from pneumonia and taste/smell is shot. Hopefully for next weekend.
