My name is Matt and I finally came to my senses and joined the site. I just moved to middle Georgia from Lake Tahoe.
I like skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, DJing, college football, harassing Palama and JaketheSnake, and listening to Tiny Tim's "early stuff'.
I look forward to BSing with you all. Cheers brothers!
btw, it's HighSierraSmokin' not smooooookin. Looks like I can't correct it. Ha!

Sup Matt.
The 500 thread is currently titled "500 ways to change life for the better". It changes after 500 posts. I believe it's up to the 500th poster to start a new 500 thread and choose a title.

Have you been in a Turkish prison?
Have you ever seen a grown man naked (other than mirrors or porn)?

I spent the last 30 years of my life in the Sierra Nevada's, but I lived in what we call the High Sierra's as opposed to the foothills....so I lived in the High Sierra's and I loved SMOKIN'. HighSierraSmokin'!
I used to live at 7,160' and they received a metric butt ton of snow last year. 80'!!!
So the last place we lived was near 5,000' where only received about 36' of snow last year.LOL
This is why they call it the High Sierra aka West Siberia.

Interesting.
Always thought of the Sierra Nevadas and the High Sierras as the same range.
Learned something new today. Appreciate that.

It is the same range. That's just how Californians and Nevadans refer to the higher elevations of the Sierras.

I'd love to visit there but I do not do well with altitude. Learned that the hard way working a festival in Colorado Springs. Headache, racing heart, can't breathe. I was concerned for pulmonary embolism but when I stepped off the airplane in Chicago and got hit with the humidity and air pressure, everything was fine.

Drove up pikes peak too, only lasted 20 minutes I had to go back down.

I'll stay at sea level.

Same. Went to the top of Grand Teton Mt. the highest point in the U.S. got the worst headache I've ever had in my life and it lasted several hours after we came back down.
