My very best ( and the same was done to me but I lived) guess?? He's been slowly but surely poisoned with just enough ARSENIC that it really screwed him up....but fell short of actually killing him...I know the feeling in spades)

Hence,

He's sitting out the live trial appearance at the behest of Putin and TRUMP...

Watch for hypertension, skin lesions, severe abdominal pains, diarrhea , blood discharge, severe headaches, muscular weakness, pain all over, and general brain fog along with blood pressure issues...

Unlike cyanide which is minutes or hours...

It doesn't matter that he won't be at trial his deposition and cross exam will be shown on a large screen. Some lawyers believe this makes witnesses more credible because it is like they are on TV. I dunno...
