Are you planning on chopping it up or would you like to throw them in one whole piece at a time . Definitely probably want an industrial model that can handle the big stuff.

Shredding Machinery?

You need to shred a lawn tractor? A corn picker? What type of machine needs shredding?

If for paper, buy one that will take in a single pass-through for the maximum number of pages that is affordable. Also, use the oil they sell for them.

You can run some wax paper through the shredder too.

If you have a large volume of material to shred there are shredding services. A local bank, Security Federal and a credit union sponsor shred days where they have a local shredding company park at one of their facilities. Customers drive up and drop off their documents.

The truck has a power take off setup that drives a monster shredder, it doesn't even slow down as bank boxes full of paper are dropped in, it was rather satisfying to watch. CDROMS and binders, no problem, and it is through enough for use on a government facility for all but super duper secret squirrel stuff.

Hydrofluoric acid (HF). That $hit is amazing.

Spent many of years working with it. Nitric and hydrofloric acid are needed to etch niobium and titanium alloys. HF has a unique property - it etches glass (fluorine will kick out and replace sodium and calcium) therefore HF is sold in plastic bottles.

This acid has another interesting property. You won't know that you were splashed with it. It doesn't burn like many of the typical strong inorganic acids like nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrocloric acid. It simply just get adsorbed through your skin and while doing so dissolves your nerves (hence no burning sensation) while it makes it's way to your bones. Then it will start dissolving your bones in the affected area.

Typically hydrofloric acid is spiked with nitric acid so if you get it on you the nitric acid will give you the burning sensation so you know you've been in contact with the acid and should wash down immediately and seek medical help if necessary. Generally safety kits in HF areas should have a calcium based lotion to apply then HF attacks the lotion instead of your bones.

I thought we were supposed to wrap our faucets with wax paper to help protect from water spots or something.

I need to get a notepad to write all this stuff down in case I need them. Prolly have to put one of those key finder thingies on it in case I lose the notepad. Then another key finder thingy to find my keys to find the key finder thingy for my notepad that contains a list of things I should know but probably won't use.
