Illinois Governer signed a bill into Law for Mandatory 40 hr work week you earn an hour off...

All Well and Good! But most business here in the State cut workers hours so they only roll in 37-39 hrs. a week keep dangling that Carrot!!!ram27bat d'oh! d'oh! Brick wall Herfing

That is barbaric.

Anyone who works a regular 40 hrs should get at LEAST 2 weeks a year of PTO - that would be 1.54 hrs per week.

Those business that reduce to 39 hrs should be brought up on charges.

Say - did they ever abolish slavery in Illinois?
Sounds like a place where the rich people make the rules.

GET OUT OF THERE RUSS. You deserve more vacay than that!

Did they ever abolish slavery in Illinois? Well, I heard the last slave was supposedly freed in 1839, but a lot of folks wanted Illinois to be a"white man's state.", including Old Abe Lincoln. I do know that Illinois is downright famous for its Black Codes to keep black folks from moving into the state and doing citizen stuff like voting.

Spend 10 minutes a day at work pooping. At the end of the year you’ve been paid 40 hours for pooping.
