Looks like another white supremacist trump supporter. This one was dumb enough to have been identified by the FBI and sold a truck full of inert material. He apparently actually dialed the number which he expected to cause the vehicle full of "explosives" to blow up.
He followed pages like"P*ssed Off White Americans.",“Right Wing News” and “Stop Pulling the Race Card”... and apparently had a self description "We are the sons and daughters of European Heritage, and we are tired of being treated as second class citizens. LOUD, PROUD, and very PISSED OFF!”
I admittedly skimmed the article, but I missed the part about him being a Trump supporter.
I didn't miss your comment above (and in other threads...and Delta's) suggesting that Trump is taking an active role in propping up the alt right. Pretty sure he doesn't give two **** about the alt-right...at least no more than any other group that means votes or money. Trump is about as unprincipled as they come. He's also starting to learn that total rejection of political correctness isn't going to serve him well in the long run. He'll say whatever you want to hear if you'll put on a red MAGA hat.
The Republican party has a real problem with this association with the alt-right, nationalists, supremacists, etc. I highly doubt there's much, if any, overlap between mainstream conservatives and the alt-right...other than limited government and socialist rejections....however, there's a lot of lumping and broad brushing going on. The GOP (and Trump) are going to have to find a way to reject the alt, and clearly distinguish themselves....and that's going to be hard without swallowing a little pride, admitting some agreement with dems, and all the while, doing it with some political correctness.
I have been one of the first to say that Trump has been a bit of an enabler....but not due to conscious support...more out of desire to be liked and a desire to avoid sounding like a politician....plain speak worked for a while....it doesn't carry him much farther if he doesn't have anything to say. Hopefully, Kelly, Tillerson, et all will be able to put coherent sentences into his head for a while
