It was OK, generally, as far as it went.

However, if you do not set up your browser and PC properly it is generally pretty easy for an IT guy to identify you from the logs. Definitely so if you are running a normal Windoze install.

Uncertain about other operating systems.

True anonymity takes far more effort than most people are willing to put into it.

Probably no real penalty on Cbid for a sock puppet, or nym shifter or whatever you want to call it.

Just don't go thinking you are going to be anonymous.

Some advice to all the hot-head noobs - You would be well served to pick less fights and dial down the testosterone in general. If you don't like someone that is fine, just avoid/ignore...life is too damn short to fight everyone you don't agree with. This is coming from someone who learned the same lessons on here a long time ago.
