Polpetta is in the same vein as the Liga Papas Fritas. Mixed filler. Cuts from their premium and added long filler. Lots of brothers have issue with the prices and I might also. I did get these in a 5er for $25 and that was a great point to give it a shot. I posted simple impressions in the azzhats 1000000 thread that hit some of your points. I think they would benefit from a few months rest, but were not wasted on an immediate smoke. I think there's meat on them bones.

Overall i feel they are hiding a bit complexity that could mature with a little rest. I would buy again at $5ea

I agree with all of that. $5 per is a good price and I would smoke these ROTT but I’m betting they gain complexity with rest. Thanks again, Greg.

Joya de Nicaragua Antaño Dark Corojo 4.5 x 52 w/thanks to Tiver

This is my first time with this blend. Smells like A1 or Heinz 57 or Brown Sauce, if memory serves. Something along those lines anyway. Nice enough looking cigar, beautiful cap, some veins showing and near the foot a small portion of the seal is raised but presents no issues later. Cold draw is generous and tastes like tobacco. Kickoff didn’t break out anything. First third standard tobacco taste and a hint of wheat germ. Anise peaks in occasionally but not enough to worry me. A flavor I can compare only to Chinese cooking herbs but not American, rather the flat herb tastes of China, Singapore, Hong Kong Chinese food that I’ve had. At transition to second third a nice firm ash volunteers, a trace of salinity is welcomed. Not a creamy cigar but rather what I would consider a dry finish. A hint of savor arrives. Salinity up a notch but the excellent smoke production has crashed. Immaculate burn line but a relight is required. I think I rushed to smoke this cigar and I bet a year in storage would really pay off, I’ll probably snag a fiver on sale. Total smoke time 50 minutes. Thanks, Greg for a never-had and a good lead!

They were bought in November last year. Overall I think my main storage stays in the upper 60s RH. They could prolly use a bit of dry time

Tatuaje Avion 12s Ecuadorian Habano wrapper BP Short Perfecto 5 5/8”x48/52 w/thanks to CHENO

Never had this one. Dated 2022. This was a regular production cigar based on 2012 IPCPR if I’m not mistaken.
Gorgeous cigar, I believe this vitola is called a figurado. Shaped like a Perfecto w/a niple on the foot and a medium box-press, nice and firm, invisible seems, light vein structure. Light barnyard on nose, not much on cold draw which is very firm I’m assuming from nipple foot. Big grilled meat smoke on kickoff. Slight bit of Anise and Basil. Toasty on retro, creamy smoke texture. Unidentifiable floral sweet note creeping in. Second third draw improves a tad, shows savory notes, nutty and toasty background, flashes of Anise on occasional draws. Backend of second third required a touch up to otherwise self-correcting burn line. Going into final third more savory and trace of salinity, retro surprisingly bland. Smoke production has been on low end. Sweetness kicks up one notch, draw tighter, smoke production down a notch, second touch up. Cherry died between draws in back half of final third so I let it go. Smoke time about an hour fifteen. This cigar had detractors but I’d be willing to bury a fiver for a couple years (age of this one). Next time I’ll address the draw issues right away. I enjoyed the subtle flavors w/exception of Anise, but it was balanced and not overbearing. I never noticed a presence of black pepper, maple or cinnamon that I’ve seen in other reviews and for me the flavor was solid medium and the strength was medium -.

Smoked another Tatuaje Black out of the full box (2019) Corey sent to me. I have gifted 2 of these cigars and I admit feeling a little guilty for smoking them and that adds immense pleasure to the experience lol. Sun grown Criollo wrapper. I’ve got to “tattoo” this to the back of my mind. Thanks again, Corey. This cigar is amazing.

Glad they made it, and always thrilled to come up with some NHs, especially where Viaje is concerned.

That 1st Asylum you listed is the Martes 13. That other word you wrote is the place I got it. I won't repeat it here for the unlikely event of a surprise Mod inspection.

No more violence than was strictly required after 5 consecutive pickups. And definitely not low, even before a suspicious looking box arrived today from everyone's favorite Georgian

Cheno package was received and everything in box is a NH.

Cohiba Black
Cohiba Blue
Espinosa La Bomba Warhead
Fuente Rare Pink Shorty
Leaf by Oscar
Pappy Van Winkle (excited about this one, hope it’s as good as the whiskey)
Rojas Breakfast Taco
Rojas Street Taco
Southern Draw Manzanita
Tatuaje Verocu

The. 2 I have no idea what they are. 1 didn’t have a sticker just has a skull and cross bones and then one that’s maybe a homemade hand roll???

Thanks Cheno and hope the foot is getting better. I will do my research and let these sit for a little bit then enjoy them.

B.21, nice! Especially since they are NH. You are wise to let them rest. (Don’t smoke anything CHENO rolls! 😂)

CHENO, well done my friend! 👏 it looks like you are rising to FOG, I mean “VET” status. Pretty soon we nOObs are going to kick you out of our boat lol

Today, the sun was shining. Work went smoothly. I'd recently maneuvered myself into a teensy, tiny little bit of breathing room in my cigar storage. Little did I know there were dark, ominous clouds gathering on the horizon. And with a thunderous crash, another PIB had landed on my doorstep. Our nationwide rainmaker, Corey Sellers had struck again.

With trembling hands, I opened the box and found....another box. Then a second and third. And then, apparently because cigar box stock was running out, a bigazz ziploc of some more smokes. Smokes such as:
DE Undercrown toro
DE Sungrown toro
Blanca Liga Exclusiva toro NH nor heard of
Sinistro Honor Among Thieves NH but meant to try at one point
Tat Monsters, I think Jekyl & Hyde looks about 2015 new size for me
Tat Black Gran Toro new viola
Tat Res22erva torpedoes new size 8x over. Yep 8. From 2018
A black label skull and xbones I assume to be one of the Viaje Skull & Bones. Pretty sure haven't had that year
Viaje Candy Cane loved but only because Corey bombed me with another previously
Viaje 10+×.5yr Anny Silver mebbe? Enjoyed the Gold
Viaje Platino
Viaje Pina NH
Viaje Exclusivo Nic Leaded - new size or year or whatnot. 2 of 'em also
Viaje White Label - no idea which one. Assume NH
Viaje Birthday blend NH
Viaje Summerfest x4 NH x4
Viaje Ghost Pepper - different label than mine, so assume different year, so NHl
Avo Syncro Fugata Nic new size
Avo Syncro Ritmo South America NH
Avo Heritage Toro
LFD Double Ligero Chisel
LFD 1994 tortoise? New size
LFD Airbender toroish
Oliva MB3 Churchill
MB3 Torp
MB3 romusto x2
Balmoral Paso Doble NH but one is waiting for me
Diesel Unholy Cocktail
Diesel Unlimited - both of these with cellos almost as dark as the cigars they covered

By my count that comes to 42 cigars. Several of them downright geriatric in dog years. A bunch I haven't tried, and a bunch of new sizes to try out. Definitely bunch more than I rightly deserve. Many thanks, Bruddah Sellers.

The tat monsters I think one is 2014 and one 2015 . The AVO are 2018 all the LFD are 2018 I believe. The Summervest are also really old . The white label Viaje I have no clue don’t remember which box I grabbed it out of . The DE are 2018 and the MB3 are around the same age . I hope you enjoy them all brother.
