Ever tried the Dominican Cream? I haven’t bid on any because I’ve only seen them in bundles and I’d rather try a 5 pack before I get a whole bundle.

Jeebs I had a couple bundles from '20 and '21 of the Dominican Creams. IIRC, these are mixed filler. The Dominican are (at least were) a very mild smoke. Haven't had one in over a year, but I still have a few buried in a humi I think. OK I suppose for someone who prefers a light, mild smoke OR when offering a non-smoker a cigar to sit in a herf. They won't turn off a nOOb as they are that mild.

I got them for around $1 ea

(There’s Tony with that Nic Cream)

Jake, thanks brother. That is mighty generous of you. As a noob, I don’t have anything interesting to swap and nothing more than a couple months in my storage. I appreciate the offer.

This particular stick had less flavor than most of them I’ve smoked. Maybe I need to shave my tongue.

80777 - Tabacalera Aragon romusto from Jake. Thanks Jake! This was a natural. I kinda forgot about these, saw them in the box and remembered that I liked them. I think I have a maduro left in that packet, which might be the San Andrés? Gonna break that out soon.

80778 - Privada Runaway Felix toro

80789 - Unbanded belicoso from SOB. Thank you Dan, wherever you are! These were a local blend we think were done by Jas Sum Kral. They are pretty excellent.

I like this toasty and nutty stick but it is very mild. In the Montecristo classic class of mellow.

My first time trying this one. It is mild like a Macanudo Cafe and I enjoyed it. I’ve got 4 more to get to know it better. It is an inexpensive cigar by the way.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Jake. I've actually never had one of those, or most of the cigars in that pack. Kinda went out on a limb with that package, hoping it would be interesting.

Got my Fugazi samplers in the mail today. Haven't tried any yet gonna let them rest a bit first but the wrappers on all of them look great for a $2 cigar.

So far, I’ve really liked them. I have no idea how much they compare to the cigars they allege to, because those sticks are far out of my price range. Nonetheless, they have smoked good so far on my end.

80808: Sancho Panza Double Maduro Lancero

These cigars probably don’t thrill any of you old timers and I don’t think I’ll buy any more of them but I can say I’ve enjoyed smoking them. They’ve all been beautifully constructed, mild, well balanced and what flavor I detected was very nice. Both had voluminous smoke and burned well. And I managed to get them on a reasonable bid. Those Varina Farms smokes go through the roof on the bids and it has taken months to get them at a decent price.

Speaking of bids going through the roof…I want to try the RP 60 but the bids are very high. Anyone reading this care to tell us about the RP 60?

Since last October I’ve received 788 cigars in the mail. Mostly 5 packs, some 10 packs. A few boxes of Aging Room and LGC that I love but mostly cigars I’ve never tried before. A lot have been crappy but most I’ve been able to enjoy even if they’re not a 96 rated #2 cigar of the year awardee. I still haven’t won bids on a lot of brands or blends that I want to try. Liga, Crowned Heads, Davidoff, Henry Clay, Nic / Dom Cream, Mayans, RoMa, Warped, Caldwell, Illisione, Miami Snow, Bahia, ad Infinitum. I know I probably got some names mixed up with blends in that list, sorry, still learning the catalog. I’ve learned a ton about proper storage.

Jeebling, you should check out and get active in the n00b PIB thread and you'll be able to try lots of good cigars. I was introduced to some of my favorite cigars through trades with others here. Give it a try.
