what is romusto?

Romusto is a better descriptive term for the vitolas called "robusto", which are smallish in the spectrum of cigar sizes...hardly robust. Newer cigar fans are sure to be let down when they buy a robusto and envision a bigger thing, like a toro or a churchill, or even a corona gorda or panatela. Some of us acknowledge this imprecision by subbing in "romusto", indicating the cigar is a "must" smoke that isn't necessarily robust.

Eleven cigars in a day is an achievement. I'll go through six at best but typically five per day.

Yup, the JHill and, in general, the Las Calaveras lines are much better fresh than aged.

#78,858 - AF 8-5-8 SG

Originally I was gonna smoke a Divine Inspiration but hadda make the switch when I realized what the cigar number was! Won 3 singles for $6 each back in April 2013, this is the last one of the trio.

Edit: Wow! Ten+ years nap has taken this cigar to another level! Fan-frickin’-tastic! ThumpUp

Good catch with the numbering! 858... good one. Your cigar record keeping and patience amazes me. Well done!

78862 - Davidoff Mini Cigarillos - Gold (3.5"x20) - wow this massive log is a heavy hitter right off the bat, open the pack and immediately get butterflies in my stomach and private parts - excellent fragrance. flavor: 8.6/10 very nice "butterfly" inducing flavor. hard to regulate, either its burning piping hot or it needs to be re-lit. no inbetween. this was the most rich and powerful 4 minutes of my life and i am forever in debt to davidoff

final score: 8.4/10

has anyone crunched the numbers before?

its going to take 166 years to get 1 million, assuming the pace doesnt change

13 years / 78,000 =
X years / 1,000,000

does this change anything?

Some of my “patience” is accidental, some planned. This particular cigar had a little of both. Being that it was from my first 858 SG purchase, I had decided to wait and see what a real nap would do to it. But, didn’t plan on 10 years so that’s the accidental part. Glad I did. ThumpUp
