Ok, so we're at my mother in-laws this weekend for a visit. While there my sister in-law ask my to take a look at her computer and try to install her new web cam, which she knows is in her room somewhere. She just turned like 20 a few months back right and her room is a mess. So, I'm climbing back behind her desk where she thinks it may have fallen and what should I find but a very recent photo of her displaying every thing her momma and the good Lord gave her. Now I always thought my sister in-law was a knock out before this but, now. WOW Anyway, now being very embarassed and flushed I call her in the room to tell her that I can't find the cam. She comes bobbing into the room and tells me to just look around for it. I tell her that I don't think it's a good idea, that I think I've already seen more than I was supposed to. When she asked what I was talking about, I pointed out the picture. She just laughed and gave me a hug and proceded to find the cam.

Anyone else ever ran into this situation? I mean I didn't tell my wife what happened. I don't think I would know where to begin. But I always wondered why my wife said she didn't want or trust her sister to stay with us. Maybe this is part of the reason why.

You might want to tell your wife. Obviously, the sis-in-law thought it was no big deal, and she will probably bring it up to your wife at some point. If you haven't told your wife, she may think you're hiding it for some reason.

tell your wife everything...you aren't at fault here, but hiding it makes it look like you are. I tell my wife everything no matter what. It means she can trust me to go anywhere or do anything without her worrying about what I'm doing.

There is a reason why she doesn't trust her sister. Don't give your wife the chance to not trust you. Tell her right away. She will appreciate the honesty--maybe not at first, but it is always better to tell the truth. She will be able to tell you are hiding something and it will be worse later when she finds out and you hadn't told her.

You can always begin with "you are never going to believe this but..."

I agree with most of the posters here about telling his wife. I would tell mine too. BUT, what we don't know is how Gypsey's wife will react.

If she has a nasty jealous, or angry streak, it might be better to let the sleeping dog lie. (Even if the other dog laying down is naked and her sister).

Gypsey, good luck either way. Just let us know what you decided and how it turned out. A great case study in human nature, trust, family and marriage.

tell her, its not like your sister in law was nekkie in front of you, it was a pic right? it would be worse if it was not a pic. The thing that I would ask was the picture left lying around by accident or was it left there for you to find it? Your wife must have a reason for not trusting her in the first place, don't give her a reason to not trust you. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth...

You could start out by saying something like, Honey something has been bothering “me…” to cover the delay. However, I’d bet you are screwed either way. For all you know your sister-in-law already told your wife.

How about, "Honey, can I talk to you about something? I am worried about your sister....You see, the other day, in her room, I unintentionally stumbled across a naked picture of her. I hope she isn't in some kind of trouble."

Or, "I should have told you this sooner but I was afraid you would get mad at me, I don't know why...but the other day, I saw your sister naked."

Or you could use it as a way to sneak by a major cigar purchase "Guess what...I saw your sister naked the other day, man is she hot...I mean BOINGGGGGG....oh yeah, I alse bought $1,000 dollars worth of cigars." that way, she'll be so mad about her sister, she won't even think about the cigars.

She "can't find her web cam", but "thinks it's behind the desk"...where just coincidently there's a pic of her?

Of course, you cannot tell what it means. She may have been gauging your response, or maybe flirting...
But her response to "laugh and give you a hug"?....
I don't know how close in age your wife and sister in law are, but I personally would not again be in a situation that you could be compromised in....if you want to stay married!
And I'd find a way to tell your wife....so it doesn't come back to haunt you...JMHO

I agree with Cigarbidwidow and Liz62803. It's best that you tell your wife. She might be pissed at first, (not at you - the situation) but it's better then her finding out months down the line or finding out from her sister.

I see it as if you are innocent, which you are, then no reason to hide it.

Ok, so the angel on my right shoulder beat out the devil on my left.(but I still swear the one on my right has dirty wings too). I told my wife last night over dinner. Of course the first thing was "why did you wait so long to tell me". I told her I was embarrassed and didn't want her embarrassing her sister in front of her mom (thanks andytv). It seemed to play over well and I found myself enjoying the rest of my dinner. Then she said those words I so dread "you know I'm gonna get you right". I hate when she does that I never know if she is serious and if she is I never know when it's comming. After the meal she called her sister and they seemed to had a laugh about it all. But then she just cut her eyes at me and smiled that wicked little smile. Needless to say I didn't sleep much last night. Damn that woman scares me, but God do I love her.

OH and muaythaiguy, landing strip!

I am sure that even if she scares you, you are still better off than if you hadn't told her and she found out later. Imagine how scary she would be then.
