. . . this weekend for the Red River Shootout. This is always a big deal for both of these schools, and once again, they're both in the top 10 -- top 5, even. This should be a close game. The last 2 or 3 haven't really been games -- really more like massacres. Who's going to win this year?

I'll start by saying that I like OU again. They have a better run game this year, but their defense is not quite as good. Defense wins college football games, but having a good running game could help OU keep their defense off the field. In previous years, their high-powered offense would either go three and out or a touchdown within 3 minutes, or so it seemed. Also, in previous years, their defense was a wall. UT also has a great running game, but their pass attack is not fully developed. Young is still a much better runner than passer. Benson, on the other hand, will keep UT in the game. He's an awesome running back. He'll also help keep the defense from spending too much time on the field. This should be a very good game, but I think OU wins by 10 points give or take 4.

Part of UT's problem is Mack Brown. Bob Stoops has his number! OU by 17!
