Being a Bears fan I would love to see them grab Jamal Adams at #3. Also, am curious to see how the Browns mess this years picks up. Rumor is they are debating a QB at #1 but sounds like they may try to move up from 12.

So who is your team and what player do you want to see them draft?

In the first round, the Patriots should pick .

And in the second round .

Oh, never mind.

I dunno Shaun, Peppers might drop to the second round no with his diluted test news.....I like Adams too, better than Lattimore and his injury history @3.

The Niners need offensive and defensive line help, badly. A QB won't help if they can't protect him. Find the best OL they can and snap him up at #2. Then with the next pick... do that again.

It's quite literally just you.

I wouldn't watch ANY sports draft.
But it must be quite popular when the NFL drags it out over three days, including Thursday prime time.
Hell, even their MOCK draft gets it's own time slot and advertisers.

We all b*tch and moan about the NFL and their pampered primadona stars and their bumbling commissioner, but they make money hand over fist.

Hollywood makes movies about them.
They even make movies about their injuries.

It's Yuge.

The process is interesting to me. That and reading the stupid fans who think they know more than everyone else....well they did know better than Tampa Bay taking a kicker in the 2nd round last year.

I don't watch it, I have better things to do. But I'll check the app on my phone periodically to see who's doing well and who isn't . See who reached, who snagged great value, and who traded away the farm for one pick. High stakes drama.

The Pats have very few picks, none early, but spent the off season signing every free agent in the history of free agents.

I hear it's a deep draft but a third of the projected 1st rounders have felony charges and stuff pending...Pats may be done with them types!

They "suicided" their last felon.

This particular draft I think we'll see a dumb team reach for a QB because CB, S, TE and DE are deep this class.

I agree with this, Trubisky should probably be a 2nd or more likely 3rd rounder talent wise but he will go top ten now almost certainly. The OL looks like a shallow group to pull a top prospect out of so those DL are going to go quick imo. Think the late 2nd round teams will all be wondering where did this deep talent pool go in this draft.

I heard on some sports show that this year's teams have had to do more investigative work on what kind of person these players are because of allegations and drug test and videos then ever before. Is this because the generation where everyone got a trophy is now upon us?

Thank you for all those picks, by the way. Wow.

And then... instead of picking OL, you know... what they NEED, they pick yet another defensive lineman first. d'oh!

Defense wins championships my friend. OL is very shallow in this draft, and not a lot of top tier talent. They can get OL with their later picks. I trust John Lynch

GTFO with the cliches. You can have the #1 defense in the NFL and if your QB is flat every play you ain't winning sh*t.

I ain't too upset because they need to improve the defense, too, and as far as standout OL go, you may be right... there really isn't anyone that pops out. It's their #1 need, IMO, though.

When it started Saturday at 11:00, it was an all day party.

Now it is on Thursday. They just can't help themselves.

Part of why ESPN just laid off 100 people. Thankfully, Trent Dilfer was one of them.

Just saying, cliches are cliches for a reason. Just about every SB winning team had the top defense that year. At least we both can agree that QB did not need to be our pick there. Thanks for the extra picks bears!😂

See the texans. Good thing we've now given up next years first and second rd pix to get a QB from Clemson and dump Brocklobster

Big draft for Cleveland in the 1st, the Niners also got real good on D for a long time with their picks.

The Bears however, locked up a top pick in next year's draft with their stupidity. You pick 3 because you don't have enough good players on your roster and what do you do reach for a QB and give up 3 extra draft picks to move up one spot. I don't think for 1 second that the Niners were ever going to pick Trubisky, ever either. A guy that most were shocked to be hired as the GM in San Fran outperformed Ryan Pace and he should be embarrassed about it.

Very happy with my EAGLES taking Derek Barnett, the DE who broke Reggie White's "sack record" at Tennessee.
I did not expect him to be there at #14.

Yeah, they kept Garoppolo. I don't care what Tommy says, what he eats, how he works out, or how well he takes care of himself. He'll soon be 40, and father time is undefeated.

Agreed that the Browns had a great first round, but it is hard not to when you end up with 3 picks. Being from Ohio, glad to see they appear to be doing things right...despite the fact that I am a Steelers and 49ers fan. Curious where the Browns will take some random scrub QB. It doesn't matter how good their defense ends up if they don't have a QB. Should be interesting.

49ers also had a great first round. Agreed that they need to go offense with their upcoming picks.

Really liked the Steelers pick of Watt. He will fit into their schemes/mentality perfectly. Next picks need to be a CB or two and a WR, maybe a safety.

Also agreed that Chicago is nuts...

Ironic you'd mention how the Browns would mess the draft up yet your Bears overpaid to move up one spot and take somebody SF wasn't taking anyway to add to their $45 million free agency overpay at the same position. Think

So so pick, ok value at that slot. But they have obvious holes that need to be filled today like 2 CBS, holes that need to be looked at long term like WR and they get yet another d-lineman to play part time in a rotation. d'oh!

They should jump in and grab Kizer as Cleveland. Cleveland is happy that Chicago pulled that deal and saved themselves from themselves by overpaying for going from 12 up for Trubisky.

Yup, Chicago is the new Cleveland and will be bad until they find someone that can evaluate talent and build a team. See you in the top 3 of next year's draft again Chicago.

So far, I thought the 9ers have had their best draft in years ... getting that trade done with da Bears was epic ... a number of teams made some surprisingly risky picks, some of which are gonna blow up in their faces ... the Patriots, given their position in the draft, did remarkably well to the point that down the road, there'll be those who wonder how they do it ... crystal ball ??

Cleveland is still the big winner so far in this draft imo. I think they have got everyone or position they have wanted/needed with good value at each pick they have chosen. I may be biased because I root for ND but Kizer under Hugh Jackson I think will work pretty good considering what he did with Dalton and I think Kizer has more talent then him.

Conjecture. Analyzing and grading this early is futile. In a year or two, we can see who did well, and who bombed.

Right now we just see if teams are addressing needs, and with so many needs... the Browns and Niners are killin' it!

That's not true because you can only draft on what you know now and hope your projections for the future are accurate. So in the here and now the Browns are addressing many needs and getting good value at each pick they have made. Who knows what the future holds, maybe they all bust or maybe they all become HOFers but they are giving themselves the best chance at the latter rather then bust, which in turn says they are having a very good draft. I mean Brady was a 6th round pick and became the GOAT, when drafted I bet the Pats said we are getting the best value taking Brady with this pick.

But how do you know the value until it plays out? You're making a best guess. Many pundits believed Ryan Leaf was the best value at #2. Nope.

Only time will tell.

That is true but still nobody knows what the future holds for these players no matter how much digging and research they do on them. So, their value is current even though they may or may not be bust or HOFers. Time changes the value but for now with current values the Browns are having a very good draft.

Everything will be subject to change with time but it all still holds value in the present.

All valid points . . . Welcome to the world of a Eagles' fan. It ain't easy bleedin' green.

With that being said, I still like this kid.
I didn't expect him to be there at 14 AND was surprised that the Eagles went with him rather than all the other n\"needs" on the team.
Howie Roseman, Eagles EXEC extraordinaire, has said all along that they would go for the "highest rated player" regardless of "need", and when #14 came around, Derek Barnett was at the top of their list.
Welcome to my world.
