It's going down, May 21st!

follow the booking link below, scroll down to May 21... cost due at booking is $110....

https://morrobaylanding.fishingreservations.net/sales/?boat_filter%5B%5D=663&trip_filter%5B%5D=1060&submit=Filter

THE BOAT

http://www.morrobaylanding.com/fleet-details.php?id=2

The Endeavor... fastest sportfishing boat on the central coast and probably the roomiest for its size...it will leave out of Morro Bay Landing... technically holds 35 passengers comfortably, 30 spaciously...

check-in will be 5am, the boat will leave port at 6 am sharp, no getting around that... duration of the trip will be 12 hours...

the boat crew is far and above better than any crew I've been out with... Captain Brad will do whatever it takes to get us into plenty of fish... they sell breakfast burritos for breakfast, burgers for lunch, and beers all day long...

Rods can be rented and tackle can be bought onboard... if you don't know what you're doing, you'll know quickly... and you'll love it.... and you'll definitely catch fish!

FISH

Fish we will catch: wildlife.ca.gov/fishing/ocean/fish-id/sportfish/rockfish

Limits:
2 ling cod @ 22" or greater
10 Assorted Rock Cod
3 (counts against rock Cod Limit) Cabezon @ 15" or greater
1 Canary Rock Cod (counts against rock Cod Limit)
You Could Catch A Halibut!!! You Could Catch A Shark!!! Last Year Someone On This Boat Caught a 91 Lb. Bluefin Tuna!!!

We'll be fishing primarily for rock cod and ling cod with the possibility of hooking into some other stuff... these are some of the best tasting fish in the ocean... depending on who comes and where they stay and for how long, maybe we'll get the chance to do a massive fish taco dinner... there are also hush hush opportunities to take your catch to local restaurants and have the chef cook up your catch in exchange for some filets...

ADDITIONAL FISHING COSTS

Fish Cleaning - $1/rock cod, $2/ling cod or cabezon... $20 or more is usually the standard... this is where the crew makes their money...

Rod Rental + Tackle Set-up - Around $15

Gunny Sack - $2

Jackpot? - $5-$10 or cigars if we decide to do one

FISHING LICENSE (MUST HAVE TO BOARD BOAT)

One-day Sport Fishing License $15.12

You know I'm down for this. I just have a schedule change coming... and I have no idea when it will happen. Regardless, I will do my best to make the schedule work.

I'm down for this. Work it out with Shawn so he can come. Hopefully, Al and Jamie can make it as well. What's the best airport to fly into?

Hoping the date(s) line up. If so, MACS n I will prolly ride up together since we only live about 45 minutes apart. I'm open to staying overnight at the Cambria Pines Lodge. That would allow a fish taco dinner and a herf after fishing, which is a super way to top a great day of fishing. It'll also be a safer drive home.

If possible, consider lodging on the night before. We can drive up the day/night before and herf/get some rest before the early morning start at the boat. That's what my son, SIL and his father do twice a year in Ventura. So count me in, especially if MACS says he's gonna bring a few beers and some smokes!Drool

I hear San jose... SF is relatively close and it would give victor the chance to show you the best places in the city to publicly touch yourself...

stoked that you're planning on coming out!

though it would be amazing, I know it is not to be. Caren and I were in San Diego in November and had an great day with MACS.

You'd love hanging with tailgater, that dude is sooo funny, but the real sportsman/fisherman around here is edin508.

I'd do it in a flash, but I get sea sick easily and am oddly attracted to macs. The thought of getting ripped off on a fetish video bothers me.

see frank, now you went and macs all weepy...

just tell your wife you're taking the dog out for an early morning walk, jump on a plane, then on the boat for 12 hours, back on the plane (you'll smell so bad you'll get a whole row to yourself) and bada bing, bada boom, untie the dog from the payphone at 7-11 and you're back home in time for breakfast the next day... it's so simple!

throw up once, you'll be fine! would it help if I told you they'll cook sausages on the boat? and maybe jade will come?

seriously, it'd be great to have you out here... they make dramamene patches and when the boat stops moving there's a chance it'll be really calm... like a 1 in 25 chance...

Bonine works better than dramamine, but makes you sleepy. Take a dose before bed... sleep great, wake up, go fishing, and not get sick.

But big pharma makes it... so it's prolly bad for you.

Sounds like you need to convince Joe and Ed to go with you.

Sarcasm

You can tell them that you'll need one of them to push the wheelchair and the other to carry your bags.

And your point is? Tell her you're gonna hang out with the guys. She'll understand. If not, she and her gf's can go without you. Besides, it's not like you have to go to Portugal to buy good oporto. I'm sure you have a decent wine cellar within pissing distance.

Bonine is ok and I tolerate it ok... but I still get sick.

I went on a one day excursion in Alaska where the little boat went into the gulf for a relatively short time before ducking back in. It was rough. Someone thought it was a good idea to have an all you can eat salmon, crab and pasta buffet.

I stayed away from the food and stayed out in the fresh air while while the main cabin became a puke fest. Then the fest moved out towards me where everyone was puking overboard. I was queesy but survived and did well enough to avoid most of the projectile vomiting the couple from Ohio would seemingly randomly and violently spew forth occasionally. Ah good times. I had to walk through the main cabin to depart. I have never smelled such a sour and vile room in my life (I imagine it smells like Jades bedroom). If I would go on this boat I am pretty sure I could replicate this experience for all of you.

I do ok on lakes though.

Then there was the time in St Croix. I went on business and carved out a couple personal days.

I chartered a snorkeling trip on a small boat that took us to a reef. It was an early morning trip, I was a little hung over, so I hit the rum samples at the shops in town while waiting. The ride out was choppy, and when I was snorkeling I started to get sick. I swam back to the boat quickly and hurled violently in the bathroom.

The guide told me I should have stayed int he water because vomit works like chum and all the other folks could get lots of fish pictures. i just didn't fee like being in everyone's pictures of fish.

Then there was the fish taco incident in encinada

If you're in SD, and frequent the charters out of H&M or Seaforth, we may have run into one another.

I just got a small center console back in August. I usually launch from Dana Landing, but have used Shelter Island, too. Usually fish La Jolla or Point Loma, but have taken it out 30 miles or so to the 182, and gone down to the Coronado Islands with it once.

Welcome to the asylum sdboltsfan. Post an introductory thread (new topic) in "cigars" or "misc/general disc" board so the right coasters can get a load of you.

And you can keep the Chargers in SD. L.A. barely supports one losing team... what makes the Bolts think they'll succeed here?
