If you make the 500th post on the "500", then you get to start/name the next "500".

Ram's approval comes after you create the new the 500, he couldn't because you didn't start one.

Of course all of these Cbid rules and customs don't matter to guys like Boo-Dro. He refuses to assimilate into Cbid societal customs/norms.

Boo-Dro is an outlaw.

We just had sub sammiches, potato salad and kettle style potato chips for meal 1. Lol

sub sandwich, potato salad and kettle style chips...solid, low key every day choice...something expensive and rare seems a little overkill...

Got an early start today. Up and out to Menards at 0600. Bought wife more mothers day stuff and got other things.

Put up sheeting in the wood shed. Washed the truck. Dropped off mothers day gift at my parents place. Put the brisket on the smoker. Mowed the lawn. Mowed the ditch with the string trimmer. Walked around with the blower for a bit. Lit the burn pile on fire.

Wanted to do other things today but weed whacking the ditch always does me in.

Mexican Word of the day: Pikachu

I got stuck shopping with my wife. It was a long day at the mall then she wanted to get another pair of shoes . It was running late and I was getting tired. After a while I told her "Just Pikachu so we can go home!"

Man asks his wife, What would you do if I won the lottery?

Wife replies, legally I get half of it and then I'll ditch you.

Husband replies, OK. It's a deal. I won 12 bucks, here's your 6 bucks... I'll help you pack.

Left the door open while going in and out of the house and the garage. A small moth somehow got inside. I didn't even see it until the cat was staring at something and jumping at something in the air. Poor moth. If it lands, on a horizontal surface it will likely be eaten.

I hope it's not the reincarnation of CROS. Poor CROS.

Either that or me and the cat are both on acid.

Watching Star Wars on the patio tonight.

Boy went inside to make popcorn. Came back out sat down with his bowl and a bird flew over and shat in the bowl and on his chest.

Accidentally inhaled my cigar when that happened was laughing and coughing boy crying wife peed a little laughing so hard.

Good times.

Shirt change, shorts change, new popcorn, back to movie.

We try to keep the Sabbath as a day of rest. And no we are not 7th Day Adventists. Lol

We are just trying to follow God's instructions.

Some Saturdays I might do something. Like throw sticks in a fire--but never hard work.

Did you know that a couple thousand yrs ago you could be executed for doing something like picking up sticks on the Sabbath? Hardcore.

got a buddy who went to UKentucky after high school, worked in the horse game for a few years, told me he liked Sierra Leone in the Derby.

Another friend and I bet $150 across the board just for a kibbitz, I think we won something like $130...fanduel or whatever, he has an account.
We'll toss in a couple more bucks and go for a nice dinner with the wives.

Woulda won more if the horse had a nose like Jimmy Durante...

Brisket is in the cooler resting.

Around 730 a storm came through really quickly. Fire dept siren was screaming. Mega downpour, 50mph winds, hail. I dragged the smoker into the garage to get it out of the rain but the rain was coming sideways into the open garage. Can't exactly close the garage door so I moved the trash cans in front of it to block the rain/wind but the humidity and rain had already dropped my temps to 190. Brisket was sitting at 190 as well. Aimed a small desk fan at one of the open baffles and she came back up to temp after an hour.

Probed the meat around 200, still a bit firm. 203 and it was hot knife in butter. Wrapped it in a towel, tossed it in a cooler. No experiment with the cooking process this time. Instead the experiment is post cook. Gonna rest 2 hours in the cooler as usual, but instead of slicing/vac sealing portions while still hot, I'm going to refrigerate the whole thing and do my slicing and packing cold.

Well Frank lets just say I'm an old school kinda guy, living in an old school kinda place.

Our plan is moving along at a nice pace. I even burned some plastic a few days to give it an extra boost.

I am going to need a couple photos of Boston under water, when that happens I'll get your room prepared.

We will make some serious coin when people can hike to the crest of one of these mountains and look out over the Atlantic Ocean. :)

If he would have had a nose like Jimmy D, he wouldn't have been able to walk, let alone run the derby.

Friend of mine and I give each other a $2 free bet against either.
I had Honor Marie to Show (7th).
Buddy picked a show horse as well- Mystik Dan.

Drat!
