Man, DED threw a slow curveball, not much spin on it, and we swatted around it like the Mighty Casey. I missed it too.

82680 - Oliva MB3 torpedo from Huzza. Thank you, Huzza! I like MB3s and probably have a box's worth of different sizes. Whenever I smoke one I think to myself "I should smoke these more." Then I don't. But I'm going to smoke these more. I want some of the lonsdales but have a jellyroll resolution in place not to buy for a while.

Glad you enjoyed it! I think they punch way above their price point. Haven’t tried the lonsdale yet, but I imagine their better than the torpedo

82684: Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff Robusto (5.0"x50)
I think this could have been better. The long term storage is RH 68 to 70 and I’m getting most of those boxes down, slowly, to 65RH. I move the cigars in bunches of about 20 to 30 to a cedar humidor at approximately 60 to 62 RH. When my small humidor “smoke box” I use for my weekly smokes, the RH is constantly 58 to 60 RH. Most of the cigars I smoke do well but I’ve noticed a lot of the Caldwells seem over-humidified and need longer time to dry out. Any cigar with a Cedar sleeve needs additional dry time and the darkest Maduros need it as well. It’s taking too long to get my long term storage RH down to 65 or less. That is my plan. Just sharing this information with my fellow noobs.

Spicy and satisfying as always. Excellent go-to for a cigar that doesn’t require 90 minutes to smoke and here on CBid the price is right!

Blended by AJ, Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, lots of ligero, Nicaraguan and Honduran.

It sounds tasty because it is

Toker, I enjoy the Punch Diablo. Not as scary as the name implies and full of body. Definitely on my repeat list in 10 years when I finally free up some storage.

82692 Regius Seleccion Orchant from darklord trade.

Starts off quite boring but ramps up after an ash drop. Still not much going on, but it's pleasant, medium body, sweet. It's good but not good enough I'll seek out more.

So far I’m not a fan. If I come across more in the long term storage they’re going to stay there for a while longer.

Eiroa has betrayed me! There I was firing up a "new" blend with excitement and anticipation. What I got was a mouthful of nfused flavor. Quick search indicates it's some sort of reissue of a Deaadeood Tobacco blend. I gave up after 1/3

LOL

Haven't had that one but I've had a few "compare to". They're not even close to what they want me to compare it to, but some are pretty good on their own.

82714 Black Works Studio Killer Bee with thanks to clickbangdead.

Great cigar. Very big flavors, loads of pepper, cedar, and earth but with a faint fruity sweetness to balance and no astringency. Kinda reminds me of a batch of mango habanero jerky I made a while ago. Nice balance of spice and sweet, earthiness and brightness, salt and umami.

I like it. Smoked it till my fingers burned.

Glad you enjoyed it, I really really like these, that slight fruity/tangey-ness is addicting. Wish they'd try making these in a true Cuban Corona size, and/or Corona Gorda.

82720 Megilla lancero with thanks to clickbangdead.

Either you got a different/ better production batch than I did or time has helped these tremendously. Been 3 mo since I tried one and found it dry, ashy, and burnt rubber.

This one's got a very fain rubber note. It's pretty mild overall. Doesn't taste like ashtray. But also doesn't taste like much. Maybe the BWS killer bee dulled my senses. It's kinda sweet but in an artificial way. I've picked up an off putting chemical/solvent note in almost every Ray Pages cigar I've smoked. It's not very pronounced here, but it's there.

I didn't hate it. But I didn't love it. It could be a decent yard gar I spose. It's not bad.
