Full scale mayhem at my place. I may not recover from this.

DELTA1, what have I done to deserve this outpouring of generosity? Nothing, which makes it absolutely decadent. I might be able to repay you in cigars, but I could never repay the experience as a noob getting these spectacular cigars for the first time. You have outfitted my humidor with connoisseur selections to brag about. I will absolutely stop the world and enjoy every last puff of smoke right to the nub! I can’t thank you enough, this is really and truly over the top. And the snacks are par excellence, right up my alley.

The Groceries:
1 can original Beer Nuts, yea!
1 can Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds, yea!
1 bag 1st Street Salt & Pepper Pstacios, yea!
1 box See’s Peanut Brittle, yea!
3 ox. Ghirardelli dark chocolate, yea!
3 See’s Candy Bar: Toffee Almond, Bordeaux Bar, Scotchmallow Bar, yea, yea, yea!!!
1 See’s Nut & Chew chocolate covered nougat and almond bar, yea!
5 packs Pacific Gold nitrate free original beef jerky

The Cigars:
I’ve never smoked any of these. I’ve got a couple of these, new ones I recently bought and put in storage. I have never even heard of most of these. When I picked up the bag and saw
Fuente Fuente Opus X my hands literally, no exaggeration, my hands started shaking. I’m daydreaming about the future when I get to burn these. And you can bet your money on this - I’m going to smoke every damned one of them!

I came home from a tough day at work and my wife told me that someone named “mjrburn” sent a package. “Why would someone send me cigars? I’m not supposed to receive the box pass for a couple weeks and the blind fiver is supposed to from someone else”

I opened up a box to find a fine selection of cigars and a handwritten note that said “you’re it”

The damages:

* this are favorites of mine.

Everything else is NH. Also came with a telenubber shank!

Thanks Marcus! Definitely made my day. I’ll try my best to figure out something to send, but I can’t promise that it will be of this magnitude. Give me a week or so and I’m sure I can figure out a bomb and a target.

Coming from delta, it won't be grossly over-humified like can happen with cigars bought online. Still, I recommend letting it sit a week for every day it spends in transit.

And enjoy!

CashMoneyDave tagged me with an SFR packed full awesome cigars that I have never tried!

Quintero y Hermano Favoritos - Nice calico looking Cuban.
Jose L. Piedra Petit Cazadores - Another pretty Cuban.
Guantanamera - I'm not sure which Guantanamera this is but it looks good and I look forward to smoking this Cuban as well.
Jas Sum Kral Toothpick 2.0 - Never had, never heard of it but it looks good.
Crowned Heads Buckeye Land - This is a special Ohio release with a nice dark wrapper. Looks tasty.
AF MagR Super 60 - I like MagR, this is the biggest I've ever seen. Definitely a celebration smoke.
AF Hemingway Untold Story MD - Hemingway MD are delicious, I've been wanting to try this vitola.
AF Rare Pink 1960 Sophisticated Hooker - She's a big girl and I look forward to putting my lips on her :)
AF Anejo 888 - I love the Anejo but haven't had the 888 so this is a nice treat.
AF Casa Fuente Robusto - This one here I have never had and definitely looking forward to.

And a pair of Carlos Fuente white smoking gloves to handle all of the treasures above.

David knows I'm a Fuente fan and starting to work my way into Cubans. This was an awesome tag! Thank you David. I'm going to let these rest for a while and look forward to smoking every one of them. There are some really great people here. I feel blessed.

Rulez slightly updated.

In the spirit of fun and not overburdening anyone, a person can only be TAG!ged once. This would help keep the game moving along as a person that’s been TAG!ged more than once may have a hard(er) time picking out another person they want to TAG!

Let it be written
Let it be done

Rules are meant to be broken... i do think it would be completely understandable and forgivable if someone that was tagged multiple times opted out of further tagging with no ill will towards that person though.
394. Author: jeeblingDate: Tue, 4/16/2024, 3:01PM EST
Ultimately, if this tag thread peters out, after a few months someone could start a fresh one.
395. Author: Huzza3045Date: Tue, 4/16/2024, 3:13PM EST
Wait, then I’m a bit confused on who hasn’t been tagged yet. Is there anyone in the thread who hasn’t been tagged yet? Hypothetically if we keep tagging people outside of the thread, it will also go on forever 😂

PM'd you cause I was really quite confused on why there was an LFR on my kitchen counter.

This is gonna take a bit for me to go through and post up.

Also open to suggestions on a tagee. I have a few FOG addresses I'd like to hit but don't want to drag them into this game.

Absolutely correct! No one, after repeated TAG!s should feel compelled to continue his or her leg if they don’t have anyone they want to TAG! The operative and key phrase is “want to” - should never feel like “have to”.

jeebling wrote:

Hahaha! Well, it only took 9 years for this game to reappear! Feel free to bring this back to life in a year or two.

Huzza3045 wrote:

The original intent and hope of reintroducing the game was to have fun and for a mix of new and “old” CBidders. Unfortunately, there aren’t as many active, older B/SOTL as when DQB ran this in 2015 so the newer members have outnumbered the FOGs. The idea was for a completely off-guard, out-of-the-blue RAOK to bring a smile and I feel that that’s been accomplished but dunno if repeat TAG!s are nearly as fun and / or surprising.
398. Author: danmdevriesDate: Tue, 4/16/2024, 7:42PM EST
Jeebling sent an excessive Tag! and it didn't say Tag! anywhere on/in the box so I was confused. Checked box pass order thinking this was the box pass and take 5 leave 5 but there were local treats in there too, but he's not up to send me the blind review pass. I've already been tagged so I assumed I was safe here but checked the tracking number on jeeblings post and sure enough that's what this is.

Anyhow:

Jar of Apricot orange pecan honey butter from The Pecan House in Mineola, TX.
Little miniature pecan pie - I don't typically eat sweets but I do love a pecan pie and this is the right size I'll at least eat half. The boy can have the other half.

Bottle of Rebecca Creek Texas Whiskey
2 cans of Killswitch Wee Heavy scottish ale from 903 brewers in Sherman, TX.

I don't drink, but I'll find a good home for those.

And the excessive cigars. Bonus, they're already labeled with a date and who they came from so I don't have to sit here labeling all of them: He self identified it as a pile of rockets, and I'm sure some will be tossed in 15 minutes and some will not be, and be enjoyed to the end. However I will be smoking each and every one of them because I enjoy novelty. Lots of things in here I wouldn't consider buying, maybe they'll change my mind.

Aganorsa Leaf Nicaragua Aniversario CT - nh
AJ Fernandez Dias de Gloria - nh and never seen before
All Saints Dedicacion - nh
All Saints Colorado – nh
Arganese Nicaraguan Habano - nh
Arganese Nicaraguan Habano - nh
Asylum 13 Oblongata - nh but it is/was on my radar
Avo Syncro Ritmo - nh but I have a few resting
Avo Syncro Nicaragua - nh but have a few resting
Camacho big band Connecticut - nh
CAO Flathead 660 - nh, but when they first came out I tried a couple smaller ones and thought they were decent
Diamond Crown Julius Caesar - been a long time since I've had one.
Diesel torpedo with a reddish footband - probably have had, but not for many many years
Diesel Whiskey Row barrel aged - nh
EP Carillo INCH maduro 6x62 this is a fat fvcking cigar. Holy chit.
Espinosa Crema - nh but I've wanted to try
Espinosa Habano - nh
Espinosa Habano - nh
Ezra Zion Kashmir Caramel - nh and avoided EZ due to hype and my contrarian tendencies. Be interesting to try one.
Ezra Zion Tantrum - nh
Graycliff G2 - nh
La Aurora Preferidos CT - I just bought a fiver of the broadleaf a few weeks ago nh the CT but I like LA and CTs
La Barba Red - had an orange a night or three ago and it was decent
La Gloria Cubana Classic Wavell - nh maybe. Back in my shpo days LGC was a go-to brand for me, went to a LGC event at the shpo while I was working on my gutted house early 2010. It's been a while.
La Herencia Cubana - nh but I have an old LHC cutter I won on cbid back in the day. It broke
Montecristo Perlado nh
My Father Le Gran Oferta - nh but I was once a MF whore and love lanceros, this should be perfect
Ortega Cigar Co Cubao - nh/never heard of. I don't look up unknowns until after I've smoked at least half, so this could be interesting.
OSOK x Rojas Los Tejanos lancero - nh but I like the few Rojas I've tried and OSOK was on my radar years ago around the time I quit buying cigars so this one's got my interest
Perdomo 20th CT - nh or its been a very long time. Never had a bad Perdomo
Perdomo Champagne 10th in that silly yellow colored cello - been a long long time
Rocky Patel 15th anny - nh but I've enjoyed a few RP's lately despite my prejudice
Rocky Patel Royal Vintage – nh
Rocky Patel 15th – nh
Rocky Patel No 6 - nh
Romeo y Julieta vintage nh
Southern Draw Firethorn - nh but have some resting
Southern Draw Rose of Sharon lancero - nh
Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles - I like these

Thank you Jeebs. This will be quite the journey.
