Tiver hit me with a baker’s dozen of elite cigars! He was kind enough to send a handwritten note along with a cheat-sheet for identifying the cigars but, upon friendly advice from Tiver, I will be looking at each one and researching it on the internet. I enjoy holding them and concentrating on the ring and reading what I find. More details to follow. Tiver, thank you very much for digging out these treasures. You are a truly generous BOTL and I will follow your example when I get a chance to send someone stogies. Thank you, thank you! |

6 MARCH 2024 TIVER I was napping when awakened suddenly by a “beep beep beep”. I went to the front porch and saw a USN EOD response vehicle 100 ft down the road. An AEODRS Tactical Variant 3 dual track robot was beeping on my porch. A remote voice sounded through the speaker asking if I was JEEBS. I said I was. The robot ejected a package at my feet. The Team Leader declared the area rendered safe and the robot returned to the team and they left.

Tiver, I am sure I’ll enjoy them. I think I’ll let them rest for several months before I even think about burning them. Good idea for anything would be at least a month to at least get to your desired (confirmed) rh. The MF La Antiguedad, LAdC and Cladwell are all 12 mos in my humi. La Careme and Cloud Hopper coming on 6 mos., DE Undercrown 7 mos, Perdomo BBA 9 mos, Lot 23 7 mos. The rest are probably 3 mos and less. That info might help regarding your waiting period. Theses are all regular production so smoke 'em as you like. You're not burning anything rare or hard to find, but i thought the list was decent enough. Was going to put in a couple other connies, but the maduros just kept jumping out of the box |

There are plenty I have not tried so just about anything goes. I don't have a list of specifics so much as some brands I have little in the humi or have not tried. Flavor notes I enjoy are cocoa, coffee, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, cream, dried cherry, raisin, citrus. I don't mind a bit of pepper so long as there is some balance. Same goes for stronger woody and tobacco flavors. Aganorsa A Fuente on the fuller side AJF Enclave BLM Aladino Club or private label stuff CLE Eiroa Illusione Kristoff L'Atelier LFD Roja RoMa Tat There are plenty of others, but I think the ones mentioned should have at least several cigars that fit the suggested value guidelines for this thread. I am happy to try anything that comes this way. |

I think the way this works and the way the noob pib work are so different it’s confusing. Even when I’m not drinking. When I first got into music, I wasn’t a big fan of the Tele headstock but eventually grew to like it and consider it as iconic as the Strat’s. One thing I’ve noticed is that every once in awhile you’ll see a Strat neck on a Tele as a model variant or a guy swapping them but never the other way around. From what I read, the heels of each are different and while a Strat neck will fit into a Tele, the Tele’s heel can’t fit into a Strat’s neck pocket. I bet someone has tried to modify a Tele’s heel to fit but couldn’t get it to sound right. |
8438. Author: ZRX1200 | Date: Tue, 3/19/2024, 4:54PM EST | |
That’s because a tele heel isn’t rounded like a Strat.
Warmouth produces aftermarket necks, you can order a neck with either headstock/heel combo you prefer and they also have other style headstocks available with either. You can also order baritone, Gibson or 3/4 scale length. |

I have received a " Telebomb". The ordinance is of of the cluster variety with multiple bomblets. Ultimately we can't have these things just lying around. Each bomblet must be destroyed by fire. In time I will expose them all to this fate. This action provides the only assurance nothing will be left behind save for a pile of ashes and, of course, a broad smile. It is fitting and just. It is the right thing to do. Included in the delivery was what I believe has been coined a " Telenubber". Amazingly simple and beautiful. Very thoughtful Tele. The "bomb squad" (me) will appreciate this tool each time I nub one of these tasty looking smokes. Cigars have a little date sticker on each. There will be at least a couple that will hit the flame real soon as they have a little age on them !!! The bombing includes 14 tasties : A Fuente Cuban Corona MD - nh Aganorsa Leaf La Validacion habano gran robusto - nh CLE Azabache (toro-ish BP 6x54?) - nh Enclave Broadleaf by AJF Churchill - nh Illusione Rothchildes - I like these Iliusione Rothchildes Connie - nh Kristoff Maduro Fresh pack (4) robusto - nh any of these Includes GC Signature series, Ligero Maduro, Original Maduro, San Andres La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro No 2 - nh have larger vitola at rest L'Atelier - LAT54 - nh Rojas BlueBonnets robusto Habano - nh Rojas Staement robusto maduro - nh Well Tele, that's a whole bunch of never hads and pretty well hits my list. I will enjoy and look forward to every one. Thank you very much for the cigars and the nubber. You really kicked my arse. |
