When the Pens beat the Wings for the Stanley Cup final in 2009 and celebrated for like 20 minutes making the Wings wait for the traditional handshake, that pissed a lot of us off!! The mood in this city (DC) is about 1 part anxiety and 9 parts excitement. I don't think anyone here truly expects the Caps to win.
At least, they're excited about the Skins. February to August is the best part of any Redskins year. |
