Y'all know Sam Leccia right? If not, fire up the Google machine for a quick glance at his pedigree. He's back and his debut release is about as exciting as it gets. Sam Leccia Black is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic with an oily Habano wrapper leaf, a Nicaraguan binder, and a complex blend of tobaccos including Nicaraguan and Dominican ligeros plus Brazilian long-fillers and a touch of dark-fired tobacco (the same sweet n' smoky stuff used in pipe tobacco). The end result: delicious. Expect notes of pepper, whiskey, cedar, sweetness, and a smoky tobacco finish.
