I talked to tw... he said he's still trying to get an erection so he can send you the pics you asked for drafter... he's too embarrassed to come back until he's successful.

He said it'd help if you sent him more photos of your moobs...

WSM 22" at Home Depot. I'll go with you and my 10% military discount drops the price from $400 to $360. BigGrin

Best damned smoker on the planet right there!
Cook anything from 1/2 a chicken to 1/2 a cow.
Perfect every time!

And with minimal care should last forever.

You damned guys and your smokers. Do you also have a regular charcoal or gas grill too?

What if you want to grill a couple half pound Berger? Do you put them in you wsm 22 for eight hours?

Sounds expensive, how much does he pay him per hour?

Is it the elder George, or one of his kids?

I heard drafter just puts the patties between his butt cheeks and does squats for 10 minutes to cook his burgers....

Yes, you still need a grill.

I have both gas and charcoal grills, never use the gas though except to keep stuff warm.

You can smoke small amounts of meat on the charcoal grill but its a PITA. Use it for steaks or chicken mainly.

The WSM is only for smoking. I guess you could grill on the bottom fire bowl but you'd need to take it apart to do that. Not worth the effort.

If you want to smoke ribs, turkey, ham, brisket, or pork butts, the WSM can't be beat IMO.
And, its big enough to do them all together.

Set it and forget it!

Yes. I just got a new stainless grill, with side burner and sear burner, at Sam's Club.

Only one grill and it's charcoal. I like smoked meats, just not enough to do it.

+1 ^^^ ThumpUp Beer Herfing fog

Got a natural gas grill for steaks, burgers, chops, chicken and fish, plus veggies. Love the smoker for ribs, butts, brisket, tri-tip, fish, whole chickens and turkey. I've used the electric smoker for so long with great results that I'm reluctant to switch. Gonna experiment making jerky.

No GFI...gonna have to fix that...

Had an electric many years ago, don't remember the brand but it looked like a galvanized trash can.

Had the same problem with breakers. GFCI are safest but very finicky. Couple of times it tripped in the middle of a cook and I didn't catch it right away. Ended up putting a lamp on the circuit so I could see it from a distance.

It cooked well and I used it until i loaned it to one of my kids and it....never came back.

For me the WSM is the best choice. I can load it up and literally forget about it for eight hours. It just chugs along at 225° without any attention from me.

I also have a offset pipe smoker that I haven't used since I got the WSM, just use it to store pans and utensils in. If it wasn't so damned heavy I'd prolly haul it out to the curb.

Mom's back in hospice. No longer can swallow without aspirating... so the options are feeding tube or hospice. Looks like this is coming to an end.

Sad news vic.

Glad to hear you're seeking comfort for her and not prolonging the inevitable. I'm often forced into the latter. Despite buying time, it does not help the family and friends with closure and only puts the patient through hell.

Morning everybody.

Thursday again.

Got an informal job interview this morning. Lots of things pushing me away from this place, but I've got a kickass schedule and nearly limitless overtime available. So I'm meeting tomorrow to see if I'd be able to keep those things, but in a different unit. If not, might give up the schedule and overtime for a different position altogether. Not sure if I want to do 9-5 mon-Fri again though.
