Want to ask if anyone has had an recent dealing with Cigarbid's customer service. Cigarbid and I have been doing business for about 10yrs..all good...until now. I am military assigned to Osan AB South Korea. I paid for merchandise and it was shipped late Jan to my APO. It has not arrive and they (cigarbid) has been unresponsive to my requests for assistance. Folks I need your help...please let them know customer's messages are being ignored. They have my money but I have not product....me today maybe you tomorrow.

Thank to all

I won a freefall in February, the order was going through the process, they never took the money, nor did they send it, I wrote them twice, and still no response. I have no clue as to what is going on. I too have dealt with them for years and find their service to be very good and honorable. I would not give up hope, keep reaching out to them, I know I will....good luck!

I'm having the same problems... been waiting over a month for two orders. I hear that they are switching over to a new software and it is causing problems... I am not happy. Even worse, the last time I had a delay they wrote back and said it could take up to 75 days through the MPS. These recent orders didn't even get that far, they were sent UPS to an APO! Then they were returned to sender at the MPS processing. I can't believe they are so jacked up right now.

I placed an order at the end of February.

Still not resolved or refunded.

I'm at an APO address also, but I don't think that makes any difference in this case.

Placed an order a few weeks ago, money was taken out of my account and I received an Email with the package tracking number. It was set to be delivered on 3/29. Still haven't seen it. Called customer service - number is busy. Wrote two Emails to customer service - no response.

Site underwent IT changes. The changes did NOT go well, and many orders were affected. CS only has 2 people working the phones/e-mail/messages.

In my experience, they will make it right. Because of the serious IT issues, it may take a while. Stay safe.

Glad I stuck it out. Took a chance and finally bid again last weekend for the first time since the computer fiasco. Shipped out ok and appears bid from February is finally getting sent (backordered). Managed to get through to one of the customer service gals a while back and she had explained the software issue. I felt bad for her knowing how crazy people can get.

Did you actually talk to someone? I'm only asking because I called customer service about my missing order, waited 10-15 minutes on hold, got my order fixed and on its way in about 3 minutes. Customer service has always been great for me the few times I've needed it.

I'm starting to consider that there is Moore than an
" IT" issue going on at C-bid.
I hope not, I've been an avid customer for years.

I've sorta stayed out of this whole debacle but gonna wade in here. The OP is a US Serviceman stationed in S Korea. He has had his credit card charged for an order he's never received. I, personally, am NOT ok with that. A lot of the regular members here have, for months now, had fun at the expense of people that are being ripped off AND defended our beloved Cbid and the ladies of customer service. Yeah..they do a great job but they are clearly not capable of keeping up and CBID seems to be failing. Based on what I see here, people ARE being ripped off. For whatever reason, CBID is taking money and not shipping merchandise. That, my friends, is fraud. Or complete and utter incompetence. But, I choose to call it fraud because they seem to have no problem taking the money. I actually don't care one way or another because I haven't ordered from here for years. I'm just here because you clowns amuse me. What I DO know is that one of these days, CBID is going to piss off the wrong person who is going to call the police or file suit. Whatever......I guess it will be funny when it happens but a lot of good people will be out of a job.

Test.....thanks Frank! Still here. Ya know...this just isn't funny anymore. I'm sure the TWO Customer service ladies are being killed daily...I'm also not ok with THAT. I neither know nor care what "IT PROBLEMS" Cbid is having but they need to fix it now or pull the plug and do a reboot.

Aren't you under Z's cone of protection?
That said, speaking for myself, and MOST of the other clowns here, we are defending the CS ladies, because they need to be defended! Not at all defending the management clowns who did almost everything wrong.

They (CS) are getting crapped on by their superiors, and by irate customers. Customers have a right to be angry, and should, at this point, take whatever action they feel us necessary to resolve their individual situations.
We are at 2+ months now.
I thought things were getting better.....................maybe not.
But when I read the annual report, that's when I realized just how fubar things really are, and that they had absolutely no contingencies in place................pathetic.
It wouldnt surprise me if a class action suit gets filed soon.

Preaching at the choir. WE know them and love them. We also know there are only TWO of them. I can only imagine what kind of abuse they are taking on a daily basis. I'm amazed that they still work here. I'da walked on this clown car a long time ago. Have you seen the reviews Cbid is getting on facebook? Holy cow! They are (rightly) being crucified. In this day and age, you cannot do what Cbid is doing and hope to survive. There are other choices and 98.2% of the people that buy from here don't even know this forum exists, let alone care about it. They have no reason to come back.

I have had very good luck in the past, however my last 4 orders have all had issues.. three shipped late. The third order not only shipped late they charged my account twice and I still have not got refund or response from 9 emails. That order was missing all the cigars and one ashtray when it arrived. The last order came and had completely wrong brand of cigars in it. I for one am done for the time being until they figure life out here at CBID. I will do buisness with JR , they have never let me down.

We all have. Most of the people on this forum are longtime customers and we love the place. The Customer Service gals do a GREAT job fixing issues...when they can. I can ASSURE you, they care. But as far as I know, there are only 2 of them. They are doing what they can do, I guarantee it. It's the apparent management of the place that is screwing you guys. They seem to be unwilling or unable to fix the problems. Hell, it's left up to US clowns to answer questions and most of us are smartasses that do NOT play well with others. I'm shocked they haven't killed this forum yet. That'll be next.

A glimmer of hope. Beer

Looks like the system is trying to refund $40.00 of my February order. Hasn't happened yet, but maybe some day.

Same here. I've called customer service about five times since winning a bid back in February. Haven't been billed for my bid, nor have I received my cigars. I believe I talked to the same lady on all five occassions I've called them. She was very polite, and said she would work it out. . . . . Two months later, and still no cigars.

cb customer service is not applicable, management has their hands tied, 2 people to handle the worlds cb issues!
cb new shipping policy choices are NONE, you as a customer have no say, it is a no cooperation failure combination of
UPS/USPS. I waited on hold @ customer service 30 hours, once 8 hours solid, no answer, lost package i had to fight with UPS & USPS, each would not accept responsibility.

Yes I am having issued of receiving a refund as well. I have held on the phone for a total at different times of over two hours. Being in business all my life, I smell a cash flow issue. You can't deliver what you don't have and you can't get product when you can't pay your bills. Simple.

First issue is the lack of customer service, or the breakdown.
Second is excuses when and if you reach them.
Third is taking your money to increase cash flow but not shipping what they don't have in stock.
Fourth is not issuing refunds because they have no money to do so.
Fifth and first is the lack of customer service, or the breakdown.

Too bad, they were once a company I enjoyed doing business with...no more.
There are enough other companies outside of Bethlehem Pennsylvania to do business with, and when they sniff what's going on watch the sales you find. It's only a matter of time.

Good luck.

You're probably right that there is more going on. My last order was all screwed up, bundled too early, shipped several weeks late and was missing a number of items. Missing items were sent one-by-one over the next month and my final missing item, a brick of 60g Boveda packs, they sent a zip lock bag of 8g packets...that's not an IT issue.

Early on I was able to get through to customer service and was given the same story about there only being two of them, now I can't get through to anyone. Kind of seems like they're closing up shop.

I understand and feel all of your frustrations. I am frustrated as well. As many know, there are only 2 of us. 2 customer service reps to handle all of this, DaMarie and myself. I'm sorry, I really am. We do the best that we can.

Please pm either of us on here and we will get back to you when we get in the office.

Well, that's sad to hear ... there should be more, particularly in difficult times such as has been the case lately ... worst of all, that means you're pretty much on your own to provide actual customer service since (unless things have taken a drastic turn in the last 90 days or so) DuhMarie is by and large worthless ... I've had more than one negative experience with her, each of which precedes the current rash of problems and each of which might easily have caused me to become an ex-customer, except that having been around for as long as I have, I realize it's her that's at fault, not CBid and that what she needs is some good ol' fashioned training ...
